Concorde Delivery to Duxford 12 8 77

Delivery of Concorde G-AXDN to Duxford on 12th August 1977. After overflying Duxford a few times, Concorde did a practice landing and a go around to line up for its final landing. The parachute was used to aid breaking on the short runway. After taxying back up the runway and stops just in front of me, the engines are shut down for the last time. The steps were brought up to the door but were a bit too short, so the crew had to be assisted out. I've just realised that it was 45 years ago that Concorde was delivered to Duxford!
