- Well, this was the longest week ever and election stress really messed up my creativity. I do believe I am only a week behind, I did get prep in and I promise week 2 will have real writing in it!
*I do talk about the election. I voted for President-elect Biden and VP-elect Harris. I drag trump a lot in this video and I really don't care if you're offended. I have no interest in fighting with people in the comments so take your misinformed rhetoric and post it on facebook or something, idc ❤

This past week was so stressful, I had to distract myself the entire week with Tik Toks and bad writing. When Biden finally won, I felt like I could breathe again. Such an emotional day!

I’m super behind... like I’m at zero words but I was on a vacation at the beginning of the month so not stressing too much about. I love the idea of themes per room!! I still don’t feel christmasy but hearing you talk about the different themes makes me want to think about doing something similar.
Hahaha yes. trump's complete lack of self-awareness is my new favorite TV show since Biden won. I haven't yet turned on my christmas playlist because then I'll know that's game over for me!

Also, 10 Things is probably my most favorite movie of all time. So like, I guess you're the best. Also, can a girl get a repeat on what your video editing software is? I've been using premiere pro for a couple of years but it's like $40/month and it's starting to break the bank hahahaha.
My Jo Anne's order is hopefully coming this week so I'll be hauling that stuff! And I use Magix Movie Edit Pro!

I'm feeling so much FOMO!!! And let's be real: if you're freaking out and feeling like you're doing NaNo wrong in the first week (and at some other point in November), you're doing NaNoWriMo wrong!
In spite of the FOMO, this focusing on me and taking care of me thing I'm doing is working and it's getting me excited to keep going. Last month I lost 4.5 pounds -- which is impressive considering I was just walking for 45 minutes + 30 minutes of stretching and sleeping better (and not losing my shit, food-wise). I want to see how much I can lose this month with a good, healthy diet on top of that.

Love that new laptop! I stocked up this week on my bath and body hand soap too 😂. I have come to realize that i dont like the baked goods scents to wash my hands only fruity scents. My fave is the blackberry basil.

Girl, a MOOD :D I literally watched American news 24/7 from Wednesday to Saturday and checked my phone multiple times during the night - might have grown a tad obsessive there :D Let's just say we're veeeery relieved over here in Germany. And no one can be expected to fully focus on Nano during such a week, I'm surprised anyone got any work done :D

those first few days during the electing I would wake up stressed and check twitter to make sure nothing bad happened xD It was hard, haha. And ooo! I've only been using the laptop for the basics right now, but I'm planning to do a more deeper dive and I'm excited to see what all I can do with it. It's so sleek!

This was probably the single most unproductive week I’ve ever had. I could not not compulsively watch the election and check twitter every 30 seconds. My screen time was clocking it at over 6 hours a day 😳. Glad that’s over 😂
Oh yes, I have also never written a main character with red hair for the same reason. I think most red-heads have Northern European heritage, not necessarily Irish.

My writing, or more my editing had been slowed while my eyes were glued to the election result too. Since Pennsylvania turned blue though, I've had more success with my editing.
Also, love the necklace! And I took a DNA test since I didn't know much about my father's side and found out I am a lot more French than I knew. There was this random name change and we were German but we weren't... turns out my French great grandfather was adopted by his German stepfather. It was interesting to find out and cool to solve the mystery of the name change.
