Teaching friends to skid on fixed gear bikes

- How difficult is skidding, or more importantly, how difficult is it to learn skidding, on a fixed gear bike?
Felix and Hampus are both relatively new to riding fixed gear, and it's time for them to practice skidding. Let's see how it goes!

i just learned skidding but my foot retention is whack my feet slipped off
hopefully you can get it sorted out. maybe you can adjust the straps, or try to position your feet differently when doing the skids :) it's cool that are you skidding! thanks for the comment!
those straps look like they'd snap after a few weeks of heavy pulling

im riding 50/14 at the moment so i cant really skid since the gear ratio is to big for me
that's a very high ratio! sounds very hard to skid, yes. but very high top speed!
not to hate but you have a better voice to listen compared to the asian fixie guy lol

I just want to tell to be carefull if one day you higher your gear ratio beacaus that make skiding Even harder

48/15 is 3.2, really high. You must live in a pan flat area. I got three bikes with three different gearings. 48/17. 48/20. 46/18. I live in a moderately hilly location.
@@johnhatfield1070 yeah it's pretty flat over here. There are short hills I can choose to ride, but I can go fully flat all day if I want to :)
