Tai Chi is a popular school of Chinese kung fu marked with slow and gentle movements that are designed for defense, strengthening the physique and disease prevention.
22-year-old Liang Biying is a Tai Chi athlete, after winning the women's Tai Chi contest at the World Wushu Championships in 2019. In her view, Tai Chi is an inclusive sport as it can be static and dynamic, and its styles are diverse.

I started doing Tai Chi in 2009
I started with Yang Style 24
Now , I do Wudang Quan from the San Feng Pai Lineage
I have learned so much now that I do demonstrations for my kids , my nephews and niece as well
I was already a serious martial artist having been a fighter and a instructor for the military in CQC
Now I do Tai Chi for the aesthetic and the health benefits
I also realized my movements are more graceful and my hands are always synchronized
My hands know where to be , it's automatic now

Tai Chi (Supreme Pole) only serves for Self-Defense, as long as Internal Alchemy is managed, otherwise it will simply be a good-for-nothing dance.
That said, I will try to explain it in a simpler way and according to my experience. If you conserve your sexual energy (without losing a drop of semen) for at least 10 years, you can be a notable Tai Chi practitioner in the art of self-defense.
To be a true Master in Tai Chi, it is necessary to conserve sexual energy or Qi, at least for 25 to 30 years.
If you are not willing to maintain this discipline, it is better that you dedicate yourself to any other external technique, Kung Fu, Taekwondo, etc. that will also be useful for Self-Defense.

I started Silat and Escrima in 1993. In 2008 I got into Taiji, Bagua and Xingyi. I mostly just practice Taiji now. I like to stay flowing while focusing on the internal. I want to learn Chinese Language and Traditional Chinese Medicine. I've had real acupuncture before and it is incredible.
I stay Flowing and Focus on Internal Energy
    That’s my Tai Chi
It was the best thing for me
I don’t really practice martial arts any more I could say
I like to keep my meridians clean
I know some Qigong and how to smoke a bong
    I like Ginseng Tea
I love Acupuncture and Chinese Language and Medicine
I’m really in touch with myself from practicing fighting
I just no longer enjoy playing the game of violence
What a horrible thing to laugh at inferior fighters
My lighter’s up I struck oil
    Now I coil and twist
My Wu/Hao Fist is bringing me the best energy Qi
Out of all styles of Taiji
I also like Sun and Yang Styles
The practice can’t be matched by hard fists
I want to learn Wu style
    I respect your hard style
    It also leads to enlightenment!
I've been sober for 20 years. I am 46 YO. I started drinking alcohol when I was 9. My mother sold Ganja. I am from a party house in Hollywood. My father was a famous musician. I like to drink Ginseng Tea. I like Astragalus and Fo-Ti. I am a Master of Yin/Yang and 5 Elements.
I hold a stick and rip the air
    Ferociously explode and kill
    I’m ill
    I chill
I rap a billion times before I’m enlightened
I like Shaolin style and Wu Tang
    I don’t gang bang
    I hang with the homies
My homies know about my focus on Taiji
    I keep it clean
I curl up into a little ball and die
    Don’t ask why I cry!
    I seen violence
The silence as the air breaks
Kids make mistakes and pull blades or guns
Some kids do it just for fun
Or to get a reputation on the street
Join gangs why tough cops walk the beat
Cops have a tough job in Los Angeles
Where I’m from you get sick every day
    In the stomach
Your stock plummet if you reach the summit
    You love it
    No more violence

You will never understand Tai Chi, let alone grasp it in your hands and feel it, unless you take Air for Water.
Be water my friend, he said, be water.
But oh boy is it a game changer, life changer, sens changer when you actually get in touch with such a feeling, it would make you wonder how come we don't live by that knowledge on the very basic of human life and habits, in human interchange and respect. It's just a level so far away from the everyday life that barely anyone takes the time to nurture such a perception in themselves. Despite this knowledge and level of consciousness, anyone can still fall at anytime anyways, so it matters little that you are actually aware of your Chi or not, because even those who knows about it can still fall anyways, it doesn't make them any better than the rest of us, but it does make them more aware. Anyways, great video and good luck allz
'Tai Chi features grace and elegance in stretching..' - Our better selves is a gracious one in all actions and decisions. Grace makes space and gives proper time for things to be, for life to express itself.

@@ErraticFaith I love the way she moves but I do have to agree that it's totally useless too. Many of the moves are exaggerated for competitive purposes. Most of the jumping, spinning 360 and landing, or balancing on one leg while extending the other leg around the grounded let and then crouching, etc, are what I would term "show off" moves. None of it really connects to the traditional taiji where centering, balance, and self restraint are valued. This form of competitive taiji is more like gymnastics. They might as well start doing somersaults and flips. I know this lady is certainly talented enough to do flips, haha.

Good accuracy. But you lack the mechanical ability that defined the true art. We've fallen far, under the blight of the CCP.
