That fish and the wedges looks delicious!! Well done on catching such beautiful fish, and you look like you've filleted a few fish before John. So lovely for you both to get away and have a bit of relaxation for a couple of days xx Cathi xx

A meal fit for a king! Nothing tastes better than fresh fish you catch yourself. The potato wedges are good too. Can’t believe all of the rain you’re getting. Take care you two.

It was forecast to be fine for a couple of days a while ago and it fined up for a day and luckily we went on a wood cutting binge, we were out. Next day it rained again. Its better than being dry but. At least we have good tucker to eat while we are watching the rain. John

Takes me back Old Mate! We used to go trolling for mackerel around Double Island and Scout's Hat Island as kids. Haven't been fishing at sea for nearly 60 years. Couldn't get in and out of the boat these days. Still plenty of fish and chip shops locally though! 😜😊

Not much Spanish mackerel in the fish shops, plenty in the sea but not allowed to catch them. John

G’day John & Pat. I see most of the east coast of Australia is getting deluged with rain. Down here in Tassie we are officially in drought and water restrictions start on Monday, it’s dry as a bone 🦴 down here. Great video mate and love the tour in your lovely new boat and those delicious fish 🎣.
    Cheers to you both.
PS. That is exactly what I had for dinner tonight as well, lol
