Exactly, Jordan Faust. Thus far, Jeff Carter has been a great addition to the Black n Yellow. At least from what I've seen he doesn't ever appear rushed or frazzled. And is it just me, or does he bear a resemblance to Gerard Butler? :-)

It's so funny you say that. I was watching my local news channel and they were saying that a recent study had been done conveying that of all the sports, watching/being a fan of ice hockey is more likely to cause a heart attack than any other. LOL! Oh well...guess I'll have to buy a defibrillator!
@@negtype13 I agree, never got this anxious during a football game cause it’s a lot slower than hockey. Hockey is a fast paced sport and it’s so easy to give up a goal. Also it’s low scoring which makes it more stressful
@@minimixes1910 they came back from 3-1 and I get stressed. Carter scores and I gain a little confidence but still stressed cause they blew the lead. They tied it again and I got really stressed cause their wasn’t a lot of time left and I didn’t know if they were gonna give up another. Tanev scored I gain a little confidence but still stressed cause idk if they will blow it again.

I think it was an extra one on guentzel for chasing down the guy and slashing him when the ref was taking him to the box. That whole play was a shitshow. Guy crosschecked crosby in the back of the head then drug him to the ice for no reason
There were some questionable calls that I am sure led to equivalency on both sides. If one team got the call, they probably recognized it and gave the next to the other. Contact was made with Jarry on the final equalizer but I can see both ways. Same with the almost highstick goal moments later.

No way. Jarry initiated contact after Clutterbuck left the crease. Clutterbuck's positioning did not prevent Jarry from making a play on the puck, Jarry went to attack Clutterbuck's positioning and it backfired.
Hope Malkin feels better soon. He doesn't look full strength, and I think the Penguins are going to need to up their energy level to get past the Isles.

@@yimpster27 Those screened pucks that get slightly deflected just before goalie are almost impossible to save + carter bombs. But you are right that no reason not go back to Sorokin since he won first.. IMO Vasilievski had worse night tho, and some think hes the best.
As a pens fan, Varlomov is more impressive. The reason Sorokin got a win was because Jarry had an awful night. Couldve been 3-0 if he had a glove hand that night. Varlomov would’ve done better in place of Sorokin in his win. Either way, you have two solid goaltenders. I’m jealous. Our goaltending is on and off. Seems like Jarry found his stride
This is a game the Penguins lose the past couple years. They’re playing playoff hockey and they believe in themselves. When Pittsburgh plays games like this they go on runs.

Refs were absolutely terrible for the full 60 minutes. Both teams were getting hosed
The reasoning was he stuck his stick outside the blue paint so ultimately Pens wouldnt have gotten the call but yeah I wasn’t happy about it haha
