I could see it happening.
Giving free stuff to ppl thats complaining, resulting into more ppl complaining to get free stuff.
Who could have seen that comming?
Idk if i was just raised in the perfect place, but here, when ppl complain about stupid stuff, all their get is a raised eyebrow and a 'are you stupid?' from others in the line.
I swear some of these Karens might be mentally ill because they lose their absolute f-ing mind over literally nothing. The diner story really drives it home that the kids are horrified of her and the husband resigned himself to stay with her a long time ago with regrets (unless she cheats, he has no ammo for divorce and full custody).
Having a cheating partner, even if said partner cheats with a member of your own family and insists that your children refer to this asswipe as "step-father" is zero ammo in family court, at least in NY

I had Karen complaining about organic food costing more than regular food and being dirty. I suggest she get regular she complains than asked for a different manager. (I get Jerry, the IT head who has an anger issue.)
Jerry: "What do you need".
Karen: "This organic food is dirty and costs more, the other idiot says its always this way"
Jerry: "Well maybe if you didn't waste your money on that boob job, you'd not run into this kind of problem."
Karen "Excuse me what did you just say, I'm the customer you know?" (Jerry repeats his comment loud enough the whole market hears, people point and laugh, and Karen drops things and runs.

I’m pretty sure you could do an entire video based on my mother’s antics in town. Even my kids would apologize for their grandmother’s behaviour when they were in town with her.

Either Law Enforcement or Armed Forces, because you are authorised to use force on her and there's not a Goddamn thing they can do about it, anything they try just makes things harder for them...
Really wish the manager at the greasy spoon restaurant had said "Good!" To the woman saying she wouldn't come back.
My last job, I sold plumbing materials to plumbers, home builders, and the general public. Had an older lady come in one day and wanted to look at toilets in the showroom. I showed her everything from the basic model we sold most of to the top end decorative pieces. When I asked her what she was looking for specifically, she just said I want a toilet that can flush everything in one go and nothing sticks to it in the bowl.
Well, our manufacturers' brochures don't include anything about "non-stick", but I sold her a toilet based on the design of the flushing mechanism and what we thought had the most suction power. Plumber installed this new moderately expensive toilet. 3 days after she had it in her house, she comes back to my store and is clearly pissed off. She comes up to the counter demanding a refund saying we sold her a toilet under false pretenses. According to her, there were skid marks on her toilet and she found this completely unacceptable for the price that she paid. I reminded her that we never told her anything about the sticking problem, but she wouldn't hear it.
She demanded a refund, which I told her we cannot do as she had clearly used this toilet and we cannot take anything like that back. The meltdown ensues. This 75-80 year old tiny lady starts raising a fit about how we took advantage of her and she's going to report us to the BBB and local chamber of commerce. Of course, I'm now laughing openly which only sets her off even more. "How can you just stand there and laugh in my face?" "Ma'am, I can't help it if you're shitting tar. No toilet in the world can promise what you're after. You're better off shitting in the woods where you belong".
Of course she called my corporate office. They were more professional in telling her to kick rocks, but still pretty firm in the delivery. I never heard the end of it at company wide sales meetings. Our CEO loved to bring it up, jokingly, as "maybe the customer isn't always right".
Ok, new idea, hear me out. When a karen uses the phrase "i am never coming here again" don't give them that weak "oh no, sorry to hear" customer service BS. Every employee gets a few party poppers, and when the infamous threat is given, all nearby employees cheer and set off a popper like "Thank god, for a second i was terrified you'd be a regular. Goodbye and good riddance you hag!"
Also, to nacho lady: HOW DO YOU EXPECT YOUR FRIES TO BE FRESH IF YOU SPEND AN HOUR INSPECTING YOUR STUPIDLY SPECIFIC ORDER! EAT THEM!!
The plane one had me in tears. So sad that she had to go through the experience with that terrible terrible disease, I really hope she's ok after that...

I just got promoted to ASM. Very excited
Corporate doesn’t care, manager had a customer asking for a product we didn’t sell but we had things that could be used in its place so she pointed out those items and used the words “non-toxic”. The woman complained to corporate about being shown something she didn’t want and said that being told it was non-toxic was just to make her feel guilty, the manager was reading from the package. Line Manager brought a written warning for her to sign but the manager refused by arguing that offering an alternate product was what we were supposed to do and was told not to offer any alternatives. So she asked what would happen if a customer complained that they weren’t shown alternatives, yeah instant written warning. She refused to accept the warning so it was downgraded to a verbal warning before she was told it was now policy that any customer complaints for anything at all including company policy related items would result in a written warning in future. This revelation had me looking for other jobs, left not long after. A few days after my departure I was told that the manager and staff were written up because a woman called to complain that there weren’t enough staff working on a massive sale day because she was waiting in a thirty plus long queue that snaked through the store with only two serving, corporate had refused to up the budget to allow extra staff.
