- Head Extreme 2024 Playtest: Is It Worth Upgrading?
I have loved being able to playtest rackets with Trackman technology as not only does it add another layer to these reviews, but it also gives me feedback about my own game.
One thing that I have been pleasantly surprised by is the fact that every single test I've done has given me data to match how I felt the racket played, but also (so far) the tests have shown that each silo in the Head range have demonstrated what they were made for. The Boom has offered more power, the Speed has a balance of control/power and spin, and now testing the extreme, it definitely offers the best spin potential!
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this review! Let me know if you have tested the extreme 2024 or earlier versions and what you think of them?

Definitely interested in learning about the differences in shot speeds between women and men players!
Thanks Coach Ashley! nice hitting! Definitely excited about these new Extremes 🎾💪👊🙏
Enjoy the power for sure, especially now that I'm 65, as a 4.0 player this racket gives me all the versatility that I need around the court, whether in double or in single, sometimes the ball will sail long on me, I prefer that mistake then knocking it in the net, thanks again.
I use to play with an older Extreme version, you've convinced me with your latest Boom MP review, and, its definitely the best frame I've ever had.😃
Love it! Enjoying the extra power?
fantastic review, when will these rackets be released on the market?
great video ! what is the release date by the way ?
So is the specs the same as the “Avocado” Extreme and does the Auxetic 2.0 - coupled with softer grommets make for a more solid feel ?
Can u say what strings were on the racquets?
Great video! I’m currently playing with the 2020 Extreme 360+. Considering jumping up to this one? What would you say is the biggest difference from the 360+
Thanks again! Great video
Ive wanted an extreme ever since I playtested the 2022 extreme mp and tour a couple of months back and really liked them both. Thought about waiting for the 2024 models before deciding/buying, but ultimately decided that those tiny improvements don’t justify the increased price of the new model. The deals on 2022 frames were and are too good to pass up! Can’t wait to receive my two new 2022 extreme mp rackets in the mail in a couple of days.
Any change in comfort level between 2022 and 2024 models? Or too close to notice?
What will be the RA of mp version? Thanks
How’s the pro for the 1 hander??
Great video, Thanks very much. 290 s/w is quite low? How was the plough through in terms of defending and attacking heavy balls? Launch angle looks good. What was the string setup/ tensions?
290 s/w is without strings, so it will be around 320 with.
Great content! One dilemma I - and I imagine other weekend warriors - have is a spinny forehand and a flat backhand. Not sure if the best thing is to get something spin oriented to help the BH or just go for a flatter oriented frame/pattern to control it more
Try the head gravity mp
If I enjoy playing with extreme tour with lynx tour 53 lbs, is that worth upgrading to extreme pro or mp? I used to play single back hand but now back to double. Reference: I personally do not enjoy playing with boom mp with lynx tour cause its somehow too stiff and not getting much ball contact and the ball flies out
Great to hit dude! Still haven’t recovered from your one handed BH missile winner 😅
Haha, it shocked me too… I was seeing yours looking so nice, had to try one!
Any difference with the 2022 version?
What about slice Backand with extrême MP and Pro (new Tour) ?
Is better then pure aero 98 ?
When is is release date in the uk?
I want new grommets for my tour where to buy them
my only question would be:where to get that lovely mini racket?
And which one do you prefer; the Tecnifibre TX-1 v2 or the Head Xtreme?
What about net play? This was an issue I had with the avocado tour - it lacked stability and felt flimsy at times at the net
I didn’t hit enough volleys to give a real opinion… first impressions were fine. I’ll come back here after I’ve tested at the net properly!
I need the Silo! Got an affiliate link?
its long days before we see this racquet in Canada...
Sadly they remove the 315 grams version of the pro back in the day...
love to see a new video! holy moly this racket is sexy lookin
Time to test the gravity silo 😊✌️
Yes! They showed me the cosmetic, it’s the best looking gravity yet (in my opinion)
@@TheTennisMentorwhaaat? Next Gravity already on the way? 😮
Would love to hear about typical differences between women's and men's balls
Krejčíková's shots look so hard to deal with😲
The ones when she was warming up with me were probably 30% of her full speed… she cranked it up a bit when she was doing the trackman test!
What about the Extreme Tour?
It's now the Extreme Pro
@@hollydillion1315 I know that. But there still is an Extreme 2024 Pro
Head changing too often. With the number of models they have they should be waiting 3 years at least
Agreed
I think not worth to upgrading, I will keep to play with my old Extreme MP🤪
Glorified racquet demo. Not a review.
Looks like absolute garbage 🗑️ 🤦🏻♂️
