Was never a Blade user, but the 98 V9 18x20 sold me. So much control & comfort with enough power/stability. Doesn't feel too demanding either. Easily best wilson frame in a long time :)

The Percept 100 has good top spin so I am hitting long less often and find it easier to hit angles. Just seems to suit my game more than a racket I had used every week for 2 years. The proper way to control power is with spin. For that reason, it seems to me that denser string patterns merely make a power racquet LESS controllable than any racquet should be, unless the user has a poor swing and merely bumps and pushes, and still, the margin of error is needlessy small in such a racquet. But to each his own. I agree absolutely with your high opinion of the Blade 100, which is a fabulous racquet. If the user knows what they're doing, it'll give you anything you want.

My current racket is a weighted PS97L V13. Weighted it to how a regular PS97 would be like and with 4G Soft at low tensions anywhere from 46 to as low as 41) its been working wonders so far
It gives the precision of a regular 97” PS but with more mass on the hoop, best of both worlds so far

What about the BOOMs? It seemed you somehow liked them.

I am a big fan of the Pro, but in the end, I wanted to not mention too many racquets and I prefer the Radical MP overall for better control.

They are good, but not quite enough. The best heavy racquet for me is Percept 97H tho
