Fantastic tutorial. I still have issues with citations particularly in dissertations. I realized that endnote brackets the intext citations the way you have demonstrated in the video above. However, how would a writer maintain a citation that appears at the beginning of the sentence like "according to blabla (2020)......" because everytime I do this and update the citations, it changes to (blabla, 2020). I have tried turning the formatting off but it does not help.

Sir, I have opened one group of my endnote library and save in one file by selecting create, without attachment , all references and save it in drive D of computer.
But when in Google scholar I import any reference, it goes to that group only that I save in drive D
My whole endnote library with all groups are not seen.
What to do in order to have the same setting of endnote library with all different groups

Hello all, is there a way to add notes to each reference in Endnote? I like to keep brief notes on each paper detailing the main findings and how it relates to my writing, it would be great if I could then search within these notes or at least see the notes when I click on each reference. Hi, not sure if you are still checking this video but I was wondering how do we renumber the references? as sometimes i may find another reference and add it into the paragraph however endnotes registers it as the next number, not according to the number it appears in the text. Thanks!

Sounds like you may be using a trial version of EndNote and it has expired?
