Queen is a rock band formed in 1970 which consists of 4 members:
Freddie Mercury - Lead vocalist and pianist
John Deacon - Bass guitarist
Roge Taylor - Drummer and vocalist
Brian May - Lead guitar and vocalist
Besides being amazing musicians, all four members of Queen composed music. Queen is the only group in which each of the four members has a song that they composed in the Music Hall of Fame.
Since you mentioned One Vision before your reaction...you should watch a Queen sing a song called One Vision there's an official video and a live at Wembley version.

Try Save Me, In The Lap of The Gods and Don’t Stop Me Now, Another One Bites The Dust, Dragon Attack please. Also White Queen live at the Hammersmith Odeon. QUEEN actually sounds better LIVE. Check out the 1981 Live version from Montreal. But pay attention to the other three bandmates. Without them, QUEEN isn't QUEEN.

My opinion is that people sample when they can't figure out a great riff on their own. I am not fond of the practice, personally. I am also not thrilled about all the new tech stuff like autotune and machines that make the music for you. The more of it I listen to, the less variety I find. I wonder if anyone will be listening to any of the current (tech) music in 50 years. You go to see an artist live today and they fire up the recorded music and sometimes don't even sing, it is sad. People still listen to all 200+ Queen songs which just proves that good music will always be worth listening to. Musicians used to make music because they loved it, now it seems like it is mostly just a way to try to make a quick buck. Everybody (not just music people) seem to be looking for easy money. Where is the love? Where is the pride, where is the originality?
