No invite. Those are actual statements by media "personalities". One of them actually called Taylor to apologize after hearing the intro.
She’s a different bread man. Girl writes all her songs, ALL of them. Currently on a ridiculous world STADIUM tour, every single one of them sold out. Over 50k-90k per stadium. Insane. Not to mention she does a shit load of songs none stop for about 3 1/2 hours, all of them actually singing. Girl is ridiculous. Hating on that type of shit when it comes to an artist, is just straight up being a hater for no reason 😂

Both are great, but if I had to pick one as an introduction, it would be the Rep tour, as the AMA and the mixed version of the 2 are fab, but the Rep tour recording just edges it for me.

I went to the eras tour...OMG it was amazing!!! Almost a 4 hour long concert. Her stage and outfit changes are awesome!
4 Hours is a long time and you have to be creative/innovative to come up with a show to keep everyone entertained that long
What you just watched was off her 6th album and 5th tour (where she wasn’t an opener)
2006: Debut. She was 16 when her first album was released. On that record was a song she wrote when we was 12.
2008: Fearless. (The most awarded country music album in history) hits like “Love Story” and “You belong with me” (the song the she won the VMA for in 2009 where Kanye interrupted her speech to talk up Beyonce) 1st album of the year at the Grammy’s
2010: Speak Now (ENTIRELY self written. Just to prove a point to the people who said there was no way she was carrying her weight in writing sessions) angsty, country rock vibes.
2012: Red. A blend a multiple genres. The first dip into pop with hits like “22” and “I knew you were trouble”. Also contains the fan favorite “All too well” which in her re-record has a 10 min version of the song that is perfection.
2014: 1989. Pure pop perfection with themes of 80’s synth running through it. Huge world tour. 2nd album of the year at the Grammy’s.
In 2016 the Kim-Kanye drama occurs with the phone call (that was later proved to be edited) where Kanye was asking Taylor for permission to have lyrics about her in his upcoming song “famous” Taylor said she never agreed to the line. They release the edited phone call video. The #taylorswiftisoverparty trends #1 on twitter. Taylor disappeared.
2017: Reputation. You just heard the opening. She comes out swinging. And when she isn’t telling her haters to F off on this record, she’s singing about a tentative, fiery new relationship. The Reputation tour was her first All stadiums tour and the highest grossing US tour in history.
2019: Lover. Pop. The pandemic happens so tours get cancelled.
**The master recordings to her first 6 albums are sold without her knowledge to Scooter Braun (an asshat) by the CEO of her former record label, Scott Borchetta. She worked with Scott for over 10 years and this felt like an act of betrayal to Taylor. Taylor decides to just re-record her first 6 albums so she can own them instead of Scooter. Thus “Taylor’s Versions” project begins.
2020: Folklore and Evermore (she stayed busy in quarantine) folklore won her her 3rd album of the year at the Grammy’s.
2021: Fearless (Taylor’s Version) and Red (Taylor’s Version)
2022: Midnights
2023:The Eras tour (over three hours. 44 songs) starts.
Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) & 1989 (Taylor’s Version)
2024: the Eras tour is still cooking. Midnights is awarded album of the year (4th time).she about to release another album in April: the tortured poets department.
She’s breaking industry records all the time. And she’s only 34 years old right now.

Us Swifties are definitely loyal. I saw an interview where she said when her album 1989 came out somehow in Canada one of the tracks sent to radio stations was just static and it still went to number one 😂😂😂😂
She does go all out with her tours. She really wants the fans to be entertained and have a good time. She seems to love performing and gets a lot of enjoyment out of putting on a good show. She's always felt like that, but her ability to accomplish what she wants to do has improved over the years.
Her song style has evolved over the years too. She doesn't want to stay in one lane with her music. She likes to challenge herself and try new things. New styles. She does spend a lot of money on her tours. She makes a lot, but she also spends a lot.
She might not be everyone favorite type of music but she put insane work into her tour that why her eras tour is the #1 grossing tour of all time

Her live concerts go hard. They are full-on performances. She sings live over a backing track with those other vocal layers. She has a live band and live backup singers along with dancers, pyrotechnics, costumes, set changes...
It's been the case since her first album tour for Fearless in 2009. My girl is a legend for good reason.

That’s actually a really smart training strategy to be prepared for performing
I am going to have to join the team of people recommending I Did Something Bad at the Reputation tour. I do love Don’t Blame Me, but the production for I Did Something Bad is insane, and I think it shows the whole tour setup better, and gives you an idea of how massive it is, and how wildly talented every single person involved in the tour must be. It’s also an amazing arrangement specifically for the tour. There’s a video a lot of reactors accidentally use that’s a mix of the Reputation tour and an awards show performance, so just avoid that, and I think you’ll end up with an even deeper admiration for the sheer scale of that tour.
Every single time that baseline of are you ready for it drops, for just one second it feels like time stops.
She was 18 when she released her second album, Fearless; she was 19 when Fearless won AOTY.

She than went full on pop in her 5th album (1989) Than her 6th album (Reputation) is definitely R&B, and when Covid hit she put out 2 albums back to back (Folklore) and (Evermore) these albums are very folk/indy music feels.

This is from Reputation which is an album with a specific sound, she has some albums that are more country, more pop, more folky. She has something for everyone. I did something bad from reputation is my favourite performance. She's currently in Australia performing 3-4 days in a row (in 2 cities) with a range of 81,000-96,00 ppl and with so many men wearing Travis' jersey! It's a very cool connection to see. She was the youngest artist to win album of the year but since Billie Eilish has taken that record.

Eras tour performance of vigilante shit - amazing performance, badass song about the scooter brawn debacle. Not what you’d expect if all you know about Taylor is that she was a country music artist.

Some of the stadiums tried playing her music and her team stopped it. She said that she’s there to support Travis. It’s nothing about her. She actually has 14 Grammys. I think she has almost 800 awards altogether.

Taylor is a writer and performer. She puts everything into her songs and for performances she goes ALL OUT. her shows are worth every single penny!
That whole intro in regards to the sounds and the glitches showing the media comments is what the audience experienced at the show. It’s just as visual as a broadway show. Every show she’s done has visuals and multiple sets that are mind blowing and these are her visions brought to life. Same with her videos. I don’t think she has a budget in any of her projects. She takes the lead on writing her songs and has a couple of people that she works really well with. She’s a genius at creating the entire experience around each of her own songs. You’ll see.

Answer: The Reputation Tour songs do go hard. The current Eras tour encompasses her whole catalog and the stage set is insane for that too. The thing about Taylor is that you cannot put her in a box. She has done country, pop, edgy vibes like Reputation, singer-songwriter vibes in her more recent work. She has something for everyone. You may not like every song or every genre, but her talent for songwriting and putting on a show is incredible. In a lot of the concert footage you will feel like she's staring directly at you even though there's 70,000 people in the crowd.
You should check out the music video for this song. She did a lot of videos with Joseph Kahn directing and they're like mini-movies that will blow your mind. In more recent years she has directed a lot of the videos herself.
Okay. Now you need to do Don’t Blame Me, Look What You Made Me Do, I Did Something Bad from the Reputation Tour and anything from the Eras Tour. Eras Tour is on another level. 🔥🔥 You should check out her Midnights album too.

You’ll really like End Game with Future and Ed Sheeran (the video)- And Bad Blood featuring Kendrick Lamar. If you want some Pop her 1989 Taylors Version is excellent, this album has her most recognizable songs and even after those there are even more hidden gems. Its an incredible album.
All Too Well is a super well written song her 10 minute version and short film are just a must watch in Taylor history.
But honestly there are so many to recommend that I will watch whatever you choose

Intro: a mix of the actual tour film (projected on the big screens to open the show) and some closeups from her Miss Americana documentary . In some places, they will zoom in on the background monitors instead of the stage, to avoid copyright strikes. Pretty damn good editing is right; I am just sad the film's license to Netflix ran out.
