A newly dead man arrives at the gates to heaven and is shown through by an angel. While walking, the man sees a load of clocks on a wall. He asks what they are. The angel goes "they are the clocks of lies. Every lie a person tells, their clock ticks once."
The man looked at the clocks, seeing one didn't tick. "Who's is that?" He asked. "That's Mother Teresa's clock, she never lied." The angel responded.

Australia is actually developing a seaweed based cow food to prevent them from farting
And thre are ancient farming practices that also reduce the amount of gas cows produce, which involves feeding them somethign called biochar.
There are also grains available that discourage the methane in cow emissions, but they're quite expensive.

The problem with climate change deniers is that you can't reason somebody out of something they didn't reason themselves into.
No one denies climate changes they just deny it is a crisis which it isn't.
Climate change deniers (like me) says do not make emotional decisions. Let the experts decide.
The problem with climate alarmists is their bad habit to parrot hearsay without back checking if it's the truth.
Like for example calling the sceptics climate change deniers, despite we always tell you the earth's climate changes since the earth exists.
It turns out the alarmists themself are the deniers. They deny all the climate changes which happened before the 20th century.

THAT was an awkward conversation that started out, "You know the environment? Shouldn't people do something about it? Well, let's start with my pipes..."
But I've encountered this earlier in life when a girl was embarrassed at school because her sanitary pad wouldn't flush and her stall almost overflowed the entire bathroom. This...this flushing etiquette should be part of health class! Even for the boys, as wipes are used by all sooner or later! For our pipes - for our waterways - FOR OURSELVES! (And not to mention the valiant folks who actually work with sewage treatment....)

Re: cows burping, an aussie has developed a seaweed extract a year or 3 ago that can be added to cow feed that solves the problem, and is economically viable and environmentally friendly.
Basically the problem has been solved, for a politician to continue to carry on about the issue is both wrong and incompetent.
No that would be a really good idea. Of course the only problem possible with that is that, if we can’t harvest enough of it to lower the gas emissions, we might have to start farming it, and we all know that humanity, mass farming and the sea do not mix very well. We could very easily go overboard with it. Pun not intended. Eventually we could be scraping the seabed for seaweed damaging it in the process just for the excuse of cutting gas levels coming from cowls. We are humans. We all know we would be willing to make that stupid mistake.
Cow farts is only a small part of the problem with cows. But yes, reducing their farts through regulation of their feeds should be done ASAP.
Yeah but eating meat isn’t just an environmental issue, it’s also an ethical one. Not to mention the amount of land, water and food we use to breed animals has got to be damaging for the environment too don’t forget about that.

co2 has no significant effect on the climate, the greenhouse effect is due almost entirely to water.
the planet is not warming and despite 50 years of doomsayers telling us the sky is falling none of it has happened.
there is no climate crisis, it's just another power grab by corporate interests.

But hey, who needs to save the planet when we can just continue to consume fossil fuels and products produced through cheap, unsustainable practices the way corporations actually want us too.

We all know the climate lie is all about CO2. But CO2 is an invisible, tasteless, odorless gas, which is non toxic. It is nowhere near a pollutant and it is absolutely indispensable for the plant growth.
Further there is absolutely no broadly scientifically accepted evidence for it beeing the driver for any changes in the climate or the earth's temperatures.
@@oldineamiller9007 It’s not about carbon dioxide being dangerously toxic or physically observable, it’s about how pollution and industry has resulted in much more carbon dioxide (and don’t get me wrong, other gases like water vapour and methane) being in the atmosphere. These greenhouse gases are naturally present in the atmosphere and are the reason that life on Earth exists, as they trap the sun’s heat. But, because there’s too much gas, too much heat is being trapped.

You can reduce the methane cows emit by feeding them seafood in their meals. We could also just reduce the population of cows on the planet, by reducing the amount of meat and dairy products we eat

This reminds me of something one of a friends grandmothers told me. We were hanging out when she ripped one - loud and long (much like Biden's, I would think). Ridiculous numbers of electric cars on the road, solar power is everywhere (even saw solar powered highway lights 15 years ago), recycled building materials.... Yes, there is a long way to go, but by numbers, the US is actually higher when it comes to polluters per capita.

Thing is Scotland is not dumping raw serewage into rivers as our water is nationalised and therefore ensured they had the where withall to treat sewerage.
Anne, raw sewage is regularly discharged into Scottish rivers, lochs, and the sea. Typically during high rains when there’s a risk of the treatment pools overflowing or sewage backing up into homes. There were a recorded 12,000+ discharges in 2020 alone. Ewww.
He says "China admits more greeenhouse gasses than the entire developed world", but China also has more people than the entire developed world. If you look at per capita emissions, The UK does have about 25% less emissions per capita than China, which is better but that's not great. But the US has over twice the per capita emissions as China

Not to mention the reason for the high emissions in China and India, manufacturing of western goods and the disposal of western waste. It always seems to be an overlooked point.

Years ago, Greenpeace - for raising attention of killing the whales - put a giant plastic whale ... where? in Budapest, Hungary, on the river Danube.
