I honestly feel bad for the sign interpreters whenever Boris speaks.
You can see in their expressions they're struggling to figure out how to accurately sign the lunacy that spills from his mouth.

I am quite shocked the no confidence vote fell flat. Here in Aus we just got rid of our conservative government of 9 years running, dealing with a similar level of blatant corruption.

The problem we have here in Blighty is that the other potential options for replacing Boris are mostly worse than him and the other party options for Gov are, unfortunately even worse than the Conservatives. It's a lose, lose more situation for us.

My rule of thumb is generally if you can find the same information on more than three news sites (especially if those news sites come from different parts of the political spectrum and can also include independent news journalism) then I tend to trust a piece of information as true. That said, it's definitely one of those difficult things of knowing who to trust, especially with things like very convincing deepfakes on the rise.
