      Mongolians were actually a red headed blue eyed race based on historical, folk data. But, people that worship mainstream communist education draw a link between whites and blacks. Khan controlled the Silk Road through Mongolian territory and to a large extent into China and Russia. The story of why the Jews dont like Khan and represent him as some murderous warlord is because he was responsible for the death of 250,000 eastern European Jews. Basically, Khan sent a courier with a letter of negotiation and peace addressed to the Jews in what's now called Eastern Europe but was called the Kzarian Empire. The Jews sent back his courier with his head chopped off. Well after that he lead his army in revenge and killed 250k+ KZAR Jews!!! This is why Ghangus Khan is see as such a warlord because he, like Hitler challenged the Jew.

    Caucasian makes sense when used to describe people from the Caucasus. It's a shame so many people are oblivious of this region, because it's culturally fascinating. They managed to preserve their culture and language despite being surrounded by empires.

      @@dom_xi-dzopa720 Black. Actually let me digress......'black' comes from the old English term 'blæc' which is of German origin (no surprise there), they also say it comes from the Proto-Germanic word 'blakaz' which they say means burnt. But the Proto-Indo-European word 'bhleg' has another meaning which is 'shine, to shine', cognate with old Saxon (old English) 'blac'. This were it gets interesting because its a auto' antonym meaning both 'white 'bright' or 'pale' and also 'dark' or 'black' as we know the word today. Which is why many Caucasians have the surnames 'Blake, Blakeman, Blackman, Blakemere because the word 'blake' also means 'bright' 'shining' or 'pale', as well as 'dark' and 'black' but saying the word black is like saying blake means blake. The thing is, black people were never called black in those times, black people were called Moor, which is why you have the names 'Blakemoor/Blakemore,' and 'Blackmoor/Blackmore'. Another example of role reverse. Caucasians gradually changed the identity of what you know as Negroes into the word 'black' which is what 'white' people used to be called. All part of Operation Whitewash, whitewashing goes way much deeper (I mean DEEP) than what people believe, its whether people still want to be (or live) in denial and not just be real with themselves and accept the truth.

      Actually we are all Africans with common African ancestors about 200,000 years ago. White skin only evolved a few thousand years ago after farming came to Europe. With a less varied diet the people had less vitamin D in their food and since Europe was at a high latitude the selective pressure was for less melamine in the skin making it white. The people in the middle east where farming started did not have the vitamin D problem being closer to the equator and as a result they are the same colour as Europeans would have been before agriculture.

But if there would be an opportunity of calling a race "cultureless", I definitely wouldn't call the whites in that way. Just look at all those Empires, Castles and Kingdoms that were built in the Mediveal Ages, Colonies to rule over the world, 70%-80% of world's scientific researches (electricity, chemistry, physics, biology, democracy, cars, planes, space travel, psychology, guns, modern literature, ... ... ) and the european languages like french, german, polish, italian, spanish, portuguese and english for example. @tom4ivo Před 6 lety +20

      You are correct. While whites are labeled Caucasian, not all Caucasians have white skin. Caucasian is synonamous with Indo-European, since the people of Europe and India can be traced back to a common origin. However, as you go south in India, people have darker and darker skin, until it is black or near black in south India and Sri Lanka. They are, however, still Caucasian. Not that white Americans cared. In the 1930s, a man from India applied for US citizenship, and wanted his race declared as white, since he was from India, and therefore was the same race as Europeans. The US Supreme Court took one look at his very dark skin, and declared that race was not based on science, but on what white people decided.

      For myself I could have some connections there if I took the test since half of my family are Tatars. But Tatars are not a ethnic group really and the village where my ancestors come form was more Finnic/Russian that converted to islam hundreds of years ago as far as I am aware. But a genetic test would be still interesting and maybe there is some connections to elsewhere.

    I have a Sociology degree and one of the classes I took was a race relation class and one thing I learned in that class was not just the history of the word Caucasian but an explanation why it's a racist term. Apparently that guys that the people of the Caucus region were the most beautiful or something, so he coined the term to mean white people. So it's racist and conceited. I noticed in a lot of liberal academic spaces they will use the term white in speech or on official paper work instead of Caucasian so perhaps it's phasing out.

    I think using certain common words people use to classify a person's race are still useful, such as describing a suspect by a witness to the police. Color is much easier to understand and determine than a person's nationality or ancestry! I'm from America but if I was in the U.K. and people had to give my description they wouldn't say American, they would say white!
    It's not racist to use a person's color or other commonly used words like, Hispanic, Asian, white, and black etc. because it's impossible to look at people from Asia and know if they are Korean, Chinese, Japanese, etc... and with Black, how would you know if they descended from Nigeria, Kenya, or Cameroon? I'm "white" but my Family descended from Britain, Scotland, France, Ireland, and Finland. I think " Latino" or "Hispanic" is ok because you can't tell if they are from Honduras, Mexico, Guatemala or Columbia, etc
    Some people describe people of my heritage as White Anglo Saxon, So for me, white is the more general physical descriptor and Anglo Saxon would apply to me and my family's original Nationality. Just a thought!

    • @mattermat1925
      @mattermat1925 Před 6 lety

      "because it's impossible to look at people from Asia and know if they are Korean, Chinese, Japanese,". Some people would call you racist for saying that as it's almost the same as saying "they all look the same to me".
      People are entirely too sensitive about it, though.
      It is true that most Americans and Europeans couldn't tell which of those countries some with mongoloid features came from, because they have not grown up there. It is also true that people who did grow up there would be able to look at someone and say they if are from Korea or Japan or China. Same deal with the African countries.
