Old bucky cap came w a desert eagle I believe, new cap has an over designed gun, not based off a real gun but I'd imagine that extended barrel is supposed to be a suppressor, but hey, it can be whatever you want

The comic accurate gun to give him would be a 1911 45 auto. Such as came with the Winter Soldier (Crimson Dynamo) or Deadpool (Retro)
It must be said that the difference between the new and the old Bucky Cap is amazing after these 11 years.
We’ve come full circle now the OGs been updated but the shield needs to be re-tooled I don’t know how much longer we can go with broken shield clips plus I’m running out of MCU Cap shields 😂

Looks like the original had a Desert Eagle gun and the new Bucky looks to have the Robocop gun.
When you compared Buck and Sam Cap to the older versions on the paint mentioned. It really, really looks like the older ML’s were custom painted w/Wal-Mart acrylics 😂 So thankful for the updates on paint, even if Sam-Cap didn’t get pin-less sadly.
Man that is hilarious. Reusing the same knife from 11 years ago to bring it all back around! Tie it all together! Looks like a solid figure. Great review. And huge score getting him at the show 🎉

Excellent review of a great figure. Regarding Dan, I think after the Shartimus interview he was pretty fed up with interviews. I also bet Shartimus didn't get this free figure lol.
Just curious, what happened in the interview?
@@chrisdaugherty8265 shartimus asked some good hard-hitting questions such as why so many old parts are reused and why can't more figures be lron Man model 1 and the target exclusive Black Widow, Ryan and Dwight tried to answer even though it was mostly BS, while Dan was there mostly making faces and barely saying anything.
Shartimus gets hate when he tries to ask good questions and when he doesn’t. I think he gets a little bit of a unfair shake. Underneath all of our criticism about him is a guy who genuinely cares about these figures and tries to do his best. At the same time the Hasbro team also gets unfair criticism and a lot of questions that just aren’t reasonable for them to answer which you accurately point out.

I'm really please they improved the ugly Vulcan ( you can drive a bus through it) ab crunch and gave him fists and the proper hinges for weapon wielding hands.

This looks like an amazing figure, and a perfectly reasonable example of the expectation of what a Legends figure should be.
Yes, it has some reuse, but they added enough new sculpting like the cuffs, the torso, the belt, and the shoulders and so this feels different enough from a Vulcan figure.
This is what we mean by clever reuse. If all Legends came with this minimal amount of new tooling and this clean level of paint work, I would buy way more Legends than I do.
That weapon accessory is also used in the Spiderman TAS Retro Card Rose figure. Overall the figure looks pretty nice. A little disappointing to see Hasbro is still using the outdated clip shield system.
The GI Joe Classified Alley Viper shield has a rotatable strap system. They should do that and maybe make it swappable with a peg on a ring to plug into his back.
Bucky Barnes aka Bucky Barnes does look really cool especially with that unique Captain America design he wears, He could have come with an unmasked head sculpt but to me I will try to get the Target exclusive Black Widow, Astonishing Ant Man and maybe the Thor and Destroyer 2 pack.

I was scrolling through eb games and I was so shocked when I saw this figure I’m differently gonna have to get it when it releases such a cool figure. I have Steve (captain America) and Sam (captain America) now I just need this one to complete the trio super excited for it to come have the money for it

The butterfly joints are designed to not work well because of safety regulations? That doesn’t make any sense. I understand that there could be some safety regulations in terms of how a joint is printed but definitely not on how it is designed.
Yet the Sunfire buck which is older can use the butterfly joint better.🤔
In 11 years, Hasbro added two articulation points but follow the same model as before. Hasbro has slowly pushed me towards imports
Not liking the vertical arms going up and down cause I can’t do that with my arms, but I understand it’s for holding a shotgun, I would prefer the left arm having that vertical hinge, and the right hand should go left to right when it comes to holding a M8 shotgun, like the Actiong force line has that

i still have the original loose ab crunch Snake Eyes, gonna swap out Bucky's waist down for Snake Eyes', get drop down hips and more realistic/modern boots

I think you gotta do that butterfly joint popandcut mod everyone has done for anything on the Vulcan buck. It helps tremendously and is surprisingly fast and easy

The old one is still better imo it actually looks like a super hero in terms of proportions, this new one has the same small shoulders that every single ML is starting to have and I’m sick of it

Not every gun is a Glock lol if it looks like an ugly blocky thing that seems like it was made with Legos then it's a glock, otherwise it's not.

I don't think they realize that bucky is shorter than spiderman. Though it does feel wrong and I don't think they ever draw him that short so it's whatever.
