I’ve always felt Bucky was the more interesting choice. He’s not like Steve, he’s not a beacon of righteousness. And I think it’s really interesting to see a man with so much guilt stepping into the symbol of mora authority. He may not be the logical choice, but being Cap would be more than an alias to Barnes, it’s a chance for redemption.
I also love to see sidekicks take up their former leader’s mantle
I liked Bucky as Captain America better because of the redemption story and how he was often an underdog. He wasn’t a Boy Scout, but he tried to honor his friend’s legacy
Falcon or The Winter Soldier can become Captain America but they'll never possess America's À$$

Logan LeBlanc u know what I don’t agree in the MCU. In the comics yeh sure. In the movies I think Sam is a better fit, Winter Soldier can still lead the thunderbolts and has a little bit of redemption left, he’s not ready for the Cap mantle yet. Falcon rlly needs something to do without Steve around tbh so him taking up the mantle and still not being aware why as he doesn’t have abilities will be so interesting to see on screen.

Why was Steve Rogers became Captain America? Its because of his sense of justice. Steve knew Sam has it, and I'm excited for that time when Sam will realize it himself.
I love Bucky Barnes as Captain America. His costume is very cool.

Bucky was a rad Cap, rad-er than Sam IMO. He was pragmatic and got the job done in a very elegant style. I liked it.
Taylor Nelson yeah he lost control several times and brutally murdered people it’s cool ngl but it’s not captain America Sam poses that heart and morality more and Bucky didn’t even have the super soldier serum so that argument is ruled out.

Contrary to popular belief Sam was Captain America way before Bucky was. He first did it in Captain America:Sentinel of Liberity issue 8 from April 01,1999.

Buck as Cap was amazing! (Loved seeing Hawkeye as Cap too!) The obvious choice to step into the boots was always Bucky
BUT....when the world found out he was an assassin there was no way he could stay.
I tried to like Sam as Cap, I truly did. He had the skills, the know how, the killer CA costume!
But he kept the wings! He wasn’t Captain Falcon for heck’s sake! He was Captain America!

I think that taking the mantle as Captain America would have been the perfect way for Bucky to find his place in the world after everything that happened. And he has a version of the super serum so he can throw the shield. Also, if Bucky was Captain America it would have opened up a lot of awesome potential storylines.
Tamera Farly yeh it could but it’s the same with both Sam and Bucky tbh as there is a lot of overlooked Sam Wilson Cap stories, I just think we should give Sam a chance as Anthony Maccie is a fantastic actor and it’d be pretty awesome to see him do more on the MCU plus I just think Winter Soldier has a few more things to do before he becomes cap one of these being leading the thunderbolts and redeeming other ex villains. I wouldn’t worry to much anyway I can still see him taking on the mantle down the road.
I do see your point though I just think both men have endless potential as Cap in the MCU.

I like them both I want to see Bucky hood the shield next in the MCU at least as a temporary thing. Maybe Sam will do some epic stunt to save everyone and then they think he’s dead. So Bucky picks up the shield until he comes back. That would be awesome to see

I was more of a fan of Bucky Barnes Captain America then Falcon Captain America. It just seemed a better fit for Bucky then Sam. He killed a lot of people during his time as The Winter Solider and after Steve's death in Civil War; becoming Captain America was a way to honor his memory and give Bucky some redemption for what did as W.S.
Bucky cap is way better than falcon cap. It makes more sense with him trying to redeem himself and show the world hes not the killer he was made to be.

In the comics, bucky should have been able to be stay in the Stars and Stripes a bit longer. In the MCU, he should take up the mantle of Nomad.

That's because he didn't. Stan stopped actively shaping Marvel comics well before Bucky ever came back as Winter Soldier.

Bucky Barnes I rather pickup the mantle of Cap because they go way back. Don’t like the idea of a newbie character being promoted over an older character who had a longer relationship with Steve Rogers. Falcon is cool but Bucky Barnes is what Dick Grayson is to The Bat. I was reading these comics everytime a new one came out. Not that Marvel now didn't do anything interesting with Falcon Cap but this run felt like it held more gravity.

Do a video explaining all these deaths and resurrections, please. I'm a bit perplexed on how you survive a sniper shot to the neck, that should've created an exit wound the size of a baseball and barely leaving the head attached to the body.
I feel like if Falcon or Bucky was alive during endgame, it would have made it easier to pass the shield, instead of both of them being gone. Like Bucky reforming and becoming a hero instead of a Assassin/terrorist, or Falcon becoming more of his own hero, beating his own bad guys.

Buckey Barnes overall is just a solider with a lot of trauma that is often manipulated into missions. His mental disorder was so dangerous made it easy for him to get triggered and side trackers into missions. The U.S. government didn’t even try to help buckey they just swept him him under the rug.
Sam was definitely a better candidate to play Captain America, as his image was clean for the public
But if Steve chose Bucky, it would've been amazing to see a Kratos or Thor type character arc for Bucky, where he atones his sins and actually shows why he is worthy ( they could've showed this in Cap4 and TFATWS easily )
As much as I love Sam's Captain America, I find him a bit immature as cimpare to Bucky.
And it would've been fire if Rhodey became the new Ironman and the new trinity of MCU consisted of Bucky's Cap, Rhodey's Ironman and Thor, would've been absolutely amazing.
