Reminds of my Childhood days , that Stone was our mixer grinder for all occasions!!!!!! It’s been almost 30 years after I’m seeing stone use for grinding !!!! Memories Memories,,,,, thank you
is called a "PILON" in Caribbean is also use in the country side. sometimes is made of wood and others of a special stone, is very handy for poor people.
I live for these videos you post. So much union between one another and very aesthetically pleasing to watch. And the quality of the food is beyond beautiful. Keep posting!
Looks absolutely amazing! I could practically smell it through my phone. This has to be one of my most favorite dishes, though I have never seen prepared for such a large serving!
they're literally washing the chicken... when you wash chicken, it will spread salmonella, unless that water was 70 degrees and boiling, they shouldn't be washing that chicken. >.>
Yeah you're completely right, rookie mistake. It's a common misconception that washing will reduce bacteria, but this is not the case with salmonella and chicken. Heating it up would be better as the bacteria would remain, but it would be dead and heavily denatured. When you wash it with water, you simply spread the bacteria to other chicken and also infect the water.
very nice, laid back and airy cooking environment. the utensils look clean too especially the frying pan. such an enjoyable cooking experience just like the BBQ PITBOYS!!
After watching this, I'm truly convinced that I will not be able to eat food like this anywhere else in the world but right there in this man's village - prepared with a meticulous labour of love using locally grown fresh ingredients, in the open air. Wood fires, clay pots, stone mortar and pestle... amazing.
For those who wonder why not grind the spices with a blender instead, stone grinding gives a much better taste. Takes atleast 20-30 mins to grind it and your muscles ache like hell after that, but the taste is orders of magnitude better.
Greetings from Texas. You have some of the best cooking videos I have found on the internet. I like the simplicity of the recipe and the complexity of the flavors. I look forward to seeing what you offer next. Keep up the good work.
yup, people don't understand what it is like to make food fresh and work hard to make it with family and friends involved. Not any of this process crap we ear here now in the states
what is so lovely about this is, with less money and resources, you all eat so healthy and naturally, it is the rich of the world that eat garbage in modern times! lots of great food here, good for you!
look at how much time and quality and care goes into this kind of cooking. some narrow minded people would believe that good food can't come from this part of the world and they'd rather go eat at mcdonalds or some other crap like that. this is some outstanding food.
your everything looks wonderful. its mouth watering. yummy. but i have only one complaint. you should have write down every spices and everything else u use. becoz we are not able to catch everything. it will be easy to cook this at home. i m hoping u will do this next time.
not that hard to catch really. 95% of Indian food use the same spices, most common you find are coriander seeds, tumeric, curry powder, cumin, hot chili powder, pepper corns, garlic, ginger, shallots, star anise, saffron and a couple more off the top of my head
For those who dont know the name of spices... So here it is.. Butter , oil, cashew nuts , garlic, ginger, onions, green chillis, mace, whole cumin , cloves, black cardamon, cinnamon sticks, star aniseed, pepper corns, bay leaves, turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder.. Thats all i know thank me later😊 👍
Makes me wonder of one of those 51 chicken that had only 1 leg.
101 means here good quality of chicken legs
lol
lol so like how we use 💯
I only counted about 40....it's "Cooking 101".

When I prepare my chicken, I wash it for the simple fact I don't want chicken juices on my chicken before I cook it, but that could be just me hehe :)
It looks so good and was prepared with such care. I'm sure I would love it.
very nice, laid back and airy cooking environment. the utensils look clean too especially the frying pan. such an enjoyable cooking experience just like the BBQ PITBOYS!!
