Must say, Sarah Lamb is just the perfect dancer for McGregor's works. Her physique/technique is brilliant!!
They are SO lovely together... Even though this is just rehearsal time, it gives me goosebumps. I do hope this won't be seen as controversial or... anything negative... but the contrast in their skin colors makes this that much more beautiful. So much love for these two!!
I was thinking the same thing regarding their coloring. It's just stunning as a team. They are both gorgeous.

THIS CHOREOGRAPHY IS KILLING ME!!!!! I'm in love! I love this type of choreography so much, I would be in heaven if I got to dance this!!!!
Wow--such gorgeous, imaginative work! McGregor does an exceptional job of building movement in collaboration with music and narrative. The movement is fresh, inspired, and evocative. The couple dancing here are is so impressive.
I love this snatch of a MacGregor piece in the making with these two wonderful dancers. They make difficult movement look graceful and together make Sarah seem weightless. It's amazing. I wish there was a recording of the whole thing. I just come back to this video again and again. Whatever the controversy it raised at the time, I think the conscious contrast in the dancers' appearances makes each dancer more striking and beautiful as one moves with the other.

I love how Wayne directs, with his sour effects for every movement. It's funny to me, because my band director would teach chamber pieces like this, so to see the same type of teaching only used for a different medium, is very very cool.
All performing arts teachers are a little similar. Jazz and modern teachers especially use random sound effects

If you ever get a chance to see this performed you should take it. It was one of the most amazing ballet's I have EVER seen . Wayne McGregor is a genius

Omg. You guys are so amazing. I love the way Wayne McGregor works with his dancers. I love his communication through sound and movement. They work together on a whole new intuitive and creative level. Most of all they make it look so effortless and natural. He works them hard but they get him and the collaboration is beautiful and compelling. We need this so much in the world today. This makes me very happy and comforted. It's inspiring and gives me hope for humanity.
What a thrilling experience to see even a snippet of this magical, ethereal ballet, performed with such grace and precision by Ms Lamb and Mr Underwood. Superb choreography by Wayne McGregor, against a most fitting score. How I wish I were able to see the entire ballet on stage, featuring the original performers. Is there no filmed version available?.

This is a rehearsal, she isn't wearing the costume. These are the practice clothes she chose to wear and it's what she's comfortable dancing in. There's nothing wrong with that.
