I do hope the Royal Ballet fully appreciate what a gorgeous dancer Sarah Lamb is - she's something truly special. Her delicacy, superlative technique and ability to communicate always illuminate the roles she dances. She is beautifully partnered here in these clips by the two Australian male Principals - Alex Campbell and Steven McRae.
I note that her vertical and horizontal positions are perfectly aligned and she never has to resort to leaning into a position. Note this in her sleeping beauty position. An amazing artist.
Yes, some dancers lean their body in orden to raise their leg (Zaharova) and it does not look good.
