A lot of these skips look like absolute hell, but I'm hoping for the best when they get implemented into your runs! That 21:3X feels much closer than I had thought.
timesave deflation is the way of the optimized field, that you have the room to push it this deep and have enough confidence to break into 3X just shows your tenacity to push forward.

I found a secret that is not on CZcams.
In the Boss Rush mode, you need to go to the Mecha-Birdo, jump out and go back, go to the room where the old man and the sword were, there will be a gem and the inscription "It's a secret to everybody"
Crazily enough, Kaurosu showed this to me a while back. I never thought to make a CZcams video about secrets in remastered. Might be a good idea though.
@@logicpq6884 I think it would be a good idea to make such a video, because other similar videos are quite old and may not contain all the secrets, and you, as a speedrunner, are very well versed in the game

Do you have any advice for Impossible mode? After beating the game with only 8 deaths on Medium a couple of months ago I'm convinced I can do it, but I only ever got over halfway like twice.

Not really a ton of advice for impossible. Find out your bad sections, practice them in medium and without using the saves at all. Try to get them down to a science so you can rely on muscle memory to carry you when you are nervous. Impossible is usually just a choke fest. You just need to have a strategy on every room that you can rely on.
For the turret room can you numpad it? Or does a 1f not work?
1f could work as well. You would just have to time the jump 1f earlier. Either way, I think you have to hit the timing for the jump perfectly.
