To the people wondering how to beat SCK without kirs going down, you just do what ralsei says, you keep dancing until susie does the whole why do we need kris thing, and then you can finish.

this is how my normal playthrough went, kris died before they learned how to act. can someone tell me when and how do they learn how to act if you dont die with kris?
Usually what happens is you have to have everyone in your party dance with one robot at a time. Either once enough turns pass or once you have danced with every robot, the first one stops dancing. Then Susie realizes she and Ralsei can act on their own, allowing you to have one party member dance for one robot each and win the battle that way.

I actually really like the fact that other teammates can act and the fact that kris still has more stronger acts, doesn't make him useless
I like the idea that when Kris ACTS, they're doing exactly that. ACTING. As in, acting in the way they think the enemy will like, not necessarily how they feel. But susie and ralsei instead do an ACTION, something they do based on their own personality. I like to think that's why most of Kris' acts are stronger.

Issue with this method: it's difficult to get JUST kris down without losing.
You can get Ralsei or Susie dow as well like in the video. As long as one one of them is up, they will get a buttload of hp regen so they can stand up for the cutscene.
Given how many people in the comments are saying it accidentally happened to them / they thought it was what was supposed to happen in their first playthrough, I don't think it's that difficult lol
But yeah, I get what you mean it's hard to have Kris go down but not also the entire team in that single round
@@Darticus42 In 1.0.0 a glitch made the attack sometimes longer which helps Kris dying
Speedrunners tend to take damage on the music rectangles that fall down and before going into the battle. Still a bit of risk if you're stupidly unlucky, but makes it quicker and easier
How I do it is to get Kris to attack the band and get the others to defend, so they don’t take as much damage.
The band can’t die btw
Once Kris is low enough, act.
When they die, poof

I honestly didn't even realize this was something secret, since in my playthrough, Kris got downed on like the second turn, the attack lasted so long that I assumed it was supposed to last until Kris fell.

Okay, a random thing I noticed while watching this video: Susie learns S-action, the first letter of her name (Susie-action basically, an action the player cannot force Susie to do as demonstrated in this video) and Ralsei learns R-action (Ralsei-action).
Kris is explicitly stated to be their own person all throughout the game, so maybeeee... Kris will learn K-action one day, making them be able to act without the player's input? We just have to wait to find out.

@@EP1CxEMAN08 there me about ralsie they don't hate em but they don't LOVE em there has been scraped ideas like kris blushing as a walk sprite along with ralsie so its assume there was once a cutsene that was supposed to do so, so kris can't hate ralsie and with the tea ralsie likes noelle and it only heals 50 were as kris heals 60 when drinking rlsie tea
