I worked with a woman who grew up in Germany. She told me that she was outside on her family farm at Christmas time and she suddenly heard heavy chains being dragged but couldn’t see anything that could be making the noise. She surprised me because she wasn’t a person who is into any supernatural kind of stuff and she had a kind of thousand yard stare while she was telling the story.

I'm from austria and acually krampus or perchen are expel bad energie. None of us here ever thought krampus is real, somehow as grown man its still scary to watch them because some of them beat the hell out of you, but its an ongoing tradition for a very long time.
