The fact that he is Mexican fits in perfectly in Miami. Even though it's small we do have a Mexican community that can make him feel comfortable. And that makes you work harder if you're comfortable when you're not playing.

Excellent fundamentals. Smart and Athletic. Can do it all. Best asset is his footwork inside. 2nd best is driving. Decent shooter and strong defender that can defend multiple positions. Great pickup by the Heat

@@cloudzunderskythey’ve never played 82 games. Right around the time their bodies are giving out a little bit is the same time opponents are digging in, defending better, taking advantage of matchups, and shrinking their rotations. This makes late season super difficult for rookies.
My guess is it’s a mix of being in and out of line up and being asked to play different roles that are unfamiliar. His best games are when he plays Jimmy role. He is also a rookie and they never play these many games per year so that likely has an impact

@@AlejandroRodriguez-cn9wq Yeah, did a little internet researching and he accepted dual citizenship with Mexico and played for the Mexican national team in the Pan American games in 2019. His choice and I still think he's a great player and solid role model (earned a Bachelor's Degree in History from UCLA) for young hoopers.
