I believe Hagrid had private tutelage by Dumbledore. And, of course, because Dumbledore was the master of the elder wand, repaired Hagrid's wand and helped him hide it inside of the pink umbrella. We see this in the first book with the fire, the pig tail, and when Harry asked, "How did you get here?" Hagrid's response, "I flew." That means he aporated: unlicensed but very proficient.

As an adult, he joined the order, giving him access to the most skilled wizards and their knowledge. We never hear about them training, but you could assume that a secret army dedicated to taking down the death eaters would indeed practice duelling amongst themselves.

I've been saying this for a long time. Hagrid would have been an incredibly powerful wizard if he had been allowed to continue his education. I don't think Tom Riddle saw his potential though. He was too arrogant and cruel to see the potential in other people, other than as a pawn. He could have tried to recruit him into his gang of followers but Hagrid was too kind of a person to join him.

Honestly voldemort was lucky hagrid had aragog, during the same time as voldemort did the chamber of secrets. If hagrid didn't do that, then the chamber of secrets and basilisk might have been discovered during that year, with tom riddle as the culprit/perpetrator.

Oh Merlin, Hagrid is the Kenpachi Zaraki of the Potterverse, insanely powerful despite being practically untrained.
And we mostly don't think about it because Hagrid is practically the poster boy for gentle giant whereas Kenpachi is a bloodthirsty maniac who lives for the fight.
Scary thought: Imagine if Voldemort had been strong enough during Book 1 to possess Hagrid by force instead of having to rely on the mediocre by all accounts Quirrel being a willing stooge.
Now, I kind of want to read a fanfic where, certain Grindelwald cast the spell that killed Arianna, Dumbledore doesn't hesitate when Grindelwald starts doing the whole Dark Lord thing, their Famous Duel takes place years earlier, giving Dumbledore the political capital to be taken seriously when he says Tom Riddle framed Hagrid, leading to Hagrid getting to finish his education and Tom having to go on the run before taking his Newts to avoid having his Yew Wand snapped and not having his job with Borgins and Burkes to help him track down artifacts worthy of becoming his Horcruxes... And of course, Hagrid joining Dumbledore and Mad Eye as the order's biggest hitters during Voldemort's first reign of Terror.

He might have seen his potential and as a result kept him close so that he never turned bad, and by keeping him and showung him kindness he would have ensured loyalty aswell. You also said that hagird had been doing all those spells without any training, but maybe Dumbledore taught him even after he was expelled. He could have repaired his wand using the elder wand which he was the master of( and I doubt a broken wand could ever do that much magic anyway, we saw what happened to rons wand when it broke and it was still in piece!). And if this was Dumbledore plan then jt worked aswell considering hkw useful he was to him and his he was like a father figure to harry. Dumbledore really was a genius

I think you need to make videos of *Harry Potter* crossovers.
Like maybe one where Harry is a mutant in the Marvel Universe and instead of being raised by the Dursleys, Harry is actually raised by a cousin of his mother's that is none other than Jean Grey. Harry is raised by Jean at the X-Mansion alongside Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch and Sirius.
The Scarlet Witch would be Harry's godmother because she went to school at Hogwarts a year above the Marauders, Lily, and Snape. Wanda became very good friends with Lily at school and Sirius had a crush on Wanda for a while before he eventually grew out of it. After Harry was born, Wanda was named Harry's godmother besides Sirius being named his godfather.
So instead of Harry being raised by those no-good neanderthals who dare call themselves his family, Wanda would be the one to whisk Harry away from England before Hagrid does so and bring him all the way across the pond to America with the X-Men where Harry is raised by his mother's cousin, Jean Grey and her husband, Scott Summers/Cyclops, away from Dumbledore's gaslightings of wanting Harry to be his personal finger puppet and a sacrificial lamb against Voldemort.
Sirius would go along with Wanda to America as well because she was able to discover some unethical magical impulses that Dumbledore jinxed Sirius with in order to make him the scapegoat (or fall guy) in the "betrayal" of Lily and James to Voldemort when Wormtail is REAL guilty party and break the spell over Sirius, which makes him becoming very mistrusting of Dumbledore now. Sirius would go with Wanda to the U.S. Embassy in England where she uses her superhero connections to help both Harry and Sirius become American citizens all the while Sirius submits himself to a trial in wizarding America before he is eventually found innocent, with all of the information being directly forwarded to the British Ministry of Magic and Sirius applying for a job in wizarding America or perhaps starting his own business in the American wizarding world.
When Dumbledore discovers that Harry was whisked away by Wanda and is now living across the pond in America with his rightful next-of-kin and not the Dursleys, he will become horrified and enraged that all of his "greater good" plans are in jeopardy and could very well be ruined because he would wrongfully see Scarlet Witch, Phoenix, Cyclops, and the rest of the X-Men as "bad influences" on Harry to the point of sociopathic mania and schizophrenia, which has also been a rude awakening and major eye-opener to a good number of his supporters (e.g., McGonagall, Hagrid, Arthur Weasley, etc.) who have begun to question Dumbledore's sanity in regards to Voldemort and whatnot where Dumbledore's reputation and public image is slowly deteriorating while everybody is beginning to paint him as being no better than Voldemort, only worse after hearing about his bad actions of wanting to illegally leave Harry with magic-hating muggle relatives all the while losing his positions of being Chief Warlock of the Wizengamot in the British Ministry and Supreme Mugwump of the International Confederation of Wizards no thanks to his tantrums.

Imagine that Riddle only feared two guys. Dumbledore and Hagrid. So, imagining Hagrid would be ten times better, he would've destroyed him easily, so putting him off training could guarantee he would never be beaten. If Hagrid wasn't expelled, there would come the time that Hagrid would defeat him easily with his powers... That would be a shame for him...

Morgan, you surely have a lot of potential with this videos and I’m amazed how thanks to you I’ve learned a lot from Harry Potter.
It would be cool if you could make a What if section from Harry Potter.
    What if Sirius raised Harry
What if Petunia went to Hogwarts
What if Cedric survived in the Goblet of Fire
What if Hermione was on Ravenclaw
    And among other what ifs

I'm not sure how he was captured by death eaters if he was immune to spells, which is basically the wizarding world's version of bullets. depending on how deadly. they probably might've used the 3 unforgivable, which he couldn't resist as those were inner magical spells. as well as being a powerful wizzrd, I wonder if he would've stayed at hogwarts. maybe, maybe not. I'm not sure if he would've been a gamekeeper or went on to be a magizoologist. I think it would be pretty cool scenario. imagine if he would have met Newt Scamander. that would be wild.

I honestly don't get why Hagrid never got re-instated into Hogwarts to continue his magical education considering that he was framed by the boy who was to become arguably the most evil wizard of all time. I get that he would have been too old to officially attend Hogwarts but if nothing else, the gesture would have gone a long way. They should have had a school for older witches/wizards who for whatever reason never got to complete their training when they were younger.

That theory about Voldemort vs Hagrid Makes sense but, the real reason he pinned the blame on Hagrid for Myrtle's death is because he knew that Hagrid was keeping an almost as dangerous magical beast with him in the castle and it was common knowledge that Hagrid already had several strikes against him for sneaking illegal magical creatures into the castle; If Hagrid wasn't being framed for Riddle's crime in his 3rd year, he sure would've been found out for smuggling magical beasts in his 4th year. So, Hagrid would not have the liable chance at graduating either way.

  • @HeatherNickless-vt8zr

I theorize that Hagrid might have had private sessions with Dumbledore or something, maybe that is why Hagrid could cast spells from beyond 3rd year level.
Why didn't they utilize Hagrid's strength properly in the Harry Potter Movies? I always wondered about that because The Character should have been able to lift at least eight of those Christmas trees as though they were just a bundle of logs without the need of a rope.
I have seen a CZcams video about "The Goblet of Fire" and it reveals that Krum was not an animagus and that he was actually a hybrid magical creature.

I’ve never considered this before, but I totally agree with you! A bit of friendly feedback, I found the music you selected in the background of this video to be rather distracting. I usually don’t mind the tracks that you have playing in the background, but I think because this one didn’t have a whole lot of variation in pitch I noticed it more. Not sure if that makes sense to me.
