@MovieFlame, I honestly thought you would place Voldemort at #1
Snape didnt just block voldy from reading his mind. He actually let him read his mind. But only the parts he wanted to show. I think thats even more impressive than blocking someone from reading your mind
Bro thats occlumency. You can't block someone from reading their minds which the legilimens will know for sure, but occlumens enables you to remove parts that contradict stuff that the reader doesn't want to know.
To understand how powerful Dumbledore was, you just need to know 1 thing: He was the only person Voldemort was afraid of (until the prophecy but that has a different reason, aka "He was born to defeat you"
He bodied Voldemort the way Voldemort bodied others.
@@zjean3417 he bodied Voldemort? You dumb or what? It was basically a TIE in the book
Yea no Dumbledore was defeated by Voldemort using a curse. Dumbledore never defeated Voldemort. It was Voldemort's curse that eventually led to Dumbledore's death. Voldemort also continually came to Hogwart and confronted Dumbledore and even trashed his school several times while Dumbledore was dumb founded and hid behind his other less senior professors. LOL.

Thank you for pointing out grindlewalds true strength. I don’t think people realize he’s not just your average bad guy. He knows what he’s doing and he’s brilliant at it
I believe so as well. He was very horrible at one point and we must not forget that he was responsible for the death of many innocent lives. But, we must not overlook that he was remorseful in his later life and that he tried to defend Albus' grave from getting defiled and looted. RIP Albus and Grindlewald.
@@Professor_McGonagallI always thought that Grindelwald only used Albus’ love for him to use him early on, but now I actually think he did care for him
@@swordaxe6517 yeah. I believe he actually cared for him before.
@@swordaxe6517I think it can definitely be a bit of both. He could’ve cared for Albus a lot but also recognised that Albus could be manipulated because of how he felt for him.
Morgan is Dumbledore of Harry Potter lore.
You can say that again
@@-SabrinatheHedgehog-Morgan is dumbledore of harry potter lore
Another ability both mastered by the Dark Lord and Albus Dumbledore is the ability to produce wandless magic. Something that was very difficult to master and was primarily used in ancient magic. Again hammering home the idea of their power.
There are wizards in other areas of the world that don’t use wands. I believe parts of Asia and Africa area but not 100% sure. I read it when I read about other wizard schools on Wizarding World.
I don’t think it’s that hard, just that most wizards see it as useless. Like Voldemort could obviusly learn to master it but why care to, he’s not gonna lose his wand…

Part of one's power is their intelligence, so for me, it's not surprising to see that Voldemort didn't reach number 1. Because despite being well versed in the Dark Arts, he didn't even bother exploring and learning about other things that could've helped him out. I mean, he didn't know about how powerful the ancient magic of love was, which was part of his downfall.
Whereas Dumbledore was so knowledgeable, even about love, that when Harry told him that Voldemort used his blood to get a new body, he immediately knew that they've won long before the endgame happened.
So I'm new to the wizarding world series and i just finished deadly hallows. Question, why did Harry's blood convinced Dumbledore that they already win?
@@mohammad-titan because Lily's love protection while he stayed at the Dursleys' until he turned 17.
But because Voldemort used Harry's literal blood to get himself a new body, Lily's love protection kept going when it should've ended when Harry turned 17 and no longer saw the Dursleys' as his home.
This was how Harry was able to come back alive and why Dumbledore knew they won because in Goblet of Fire, there's a description of Dumbledore having a gleam of something akin to victory in his eyes before it disappeared, Harry told him that Voldemort used his blood, so he knew they've pretty much won before Deathly Hallows.
@@mohammad-titan
His blood in Voldemort with Lily's protection tethered him to the real world even when Voldemort hit him with the killing curse in the forest. It was like Harry's own version of a horcrux.
Dumbledore always knew that Harry would have to die at the end. But when he heard that Voldemort took some of Harry's blood into him, Dumbledore knew there would be a chance for Harry to live after all, even after "dying" and killing the horcrux inside him.
@@Crackpot_Astronautmate, Harry was made into a horcrux when voldermort killed his mum and himself when he was a baby. Did you even watch the film or read the books?
@@DontBeAWollyy
Right. Harry was a horcrux for Voldemort. But _Voldemort_ wasn't a horcrux/"lovecrux" for _Harry_ until after he used his blood at the cemetery. This is what tethered Harry to the land of the living, because Voldemort was still living with the piece of Harry that he took into himself.
How would Harry being a horcrux for Voldemort allow _Harry_ to come back to life?

Love you Harry Potter Videos Morgan!!! Keep it up!
I think what really made Albus Dumbledore powerful was when he started to rely on his internal/innate strengths and abandoned his desire to control the world.
Isidora should’ve been on the list she’s basically the equivalent of the Hogwarts legacy avatar
Grindelwald is the "second most powerful" Harry Potter Character. He was equal to (Prime)Dumbledore, while Voldemort couldn't even defeat or kill (Old)Dumbledore!
Yeah, not only that, but Voldemort couldn't break his mind when he'd been rotting in prison for like 50 years. The real list is 1: Dumbledore 2: Grindelwald 3: Voldemort
Magical power isn’t Said to decrease with age though, (Old)Dumbledore is not Only more experienced than (Prime)Dumbledore, he is Also more powerful(especially since he Also has the Elder Wand)
You are amazing! I wait every single day for your videos! Keep the hard work 💪
bro soo good videos ngl! everybody should WATCH THIS!
I think Harry is more powerful than even he would realize because he grew up outside the wizarding world, not knowing much. But he was able to fight of the imperious curse and to some extent, Snape's legilimens without even understanding what he was doing. Considering he is related to both Godrick Gryffindor (only a true Gryffindor can pull the Sword out of the Hat) as well as the Peverell brothers, he should be higher on the list. He mastered defense of the dark arts without sufficient lessons. Only Lupin taught him anything useful. Being able to make a corporeal petronus at age 13, or killing the basilisk at age 12 when he knew so little about the wizarding world have to count.
Yup, he just doesn’t know that many spells. But once he hears of the Patronus charm, he relatively quickly masters it at AGE 13(!!!!). But he has his muggle upbringing and his laziness going against him
no offense but your joking about the Gryffindor part right...
I’m sorry I’m too much of a fan, big dawg Harry is not related to Godric Gryffindor but he is a descendant of the three peverell brothers
Harry’s confidence and bravery are rivaled only by Voldemort…which is why dumbledore spends so much time ensuring that Harry values fun and friends more than power…if Harry was more focused on learning magic he would be a contender for the top spot…what’s interesting is the term “luck” because a lot of it is also luck but in the wizarding world, luck is seen as a direct result of a person’s will and courage.
Dumbledore was the only wizard Voldemort ever feared
A bit shocked that Helga Hufflepuff wasn't in the list. She was still one of the founding members!
Same !
She wasn't a skilled duelist. Besides, she had much better and more beautiful things to do with her powers.
@@musical_lolu4811 being a duelist is not the only factor of talent.
I always look forward to your videos. It makes me happy to listen to someone so smart and can go in depth. Which again is the type of conversations I'd like. I can only imagine you do videos if my OCs for Avatar where real and not OCs. And you just come up with really good ideas for videos.
Think you should do this type of list for both Avatar and Percy Jackson. I also again think you should do a character tire list for both of them.
And go into other Rick Ridoan books like the Kane Chroncils, Magnus Chase and the Trials of Apollo. I've honestly been hoping you do those books for years. So overall, I really look forward to anytime you upload.
Love the ranking videos :)
Aberforth held his own in a duel between himself, Albus, and Grindenwald. Severely underrated
I love that you included the Hogwarts legacy main character, he/she deserves to be on this list because of the same facts you told. Love your video and i hope your next hogwarts legacy video cones soon.
I agree on the last part! I want more reactions of this fellow to Hogwarts Legacy! He's virtually a walking Harry Potter encyclopedia!
Awesome video man
this is so entertaining thank u for making these videos for us
Isidora Morganach might have become one of the greatest had she not had the killing curse used on her. She looked like she was going to easily be able to take out Rackham and Rookwood in their dual at the last repository.
Just goes to show you how powerful and terrifying Ancient Magic is. Anyone who's a natural wielder of it is insanely powerful. The spells invoked by it like the Love protection charm and Isidora's pain removal spell are like Jesus level tier stuff
This is a good one. Honestly, where Dumbledore was put, I was kind of surprised. Or even Harry. As someone who’s been a fan for a while I have an idea for a video (no pressure either way, it’s just a fan idea). You know how you did a video where you rank the villains? What if you did one where you ranked the good guys? Or maybe a full on good to evil list? If you even see this comment, I hope you at least like my idea. Otherwise, thanks for even taking the time to look and as a fan, I wish all the best. :)

Topic suggestion: what if Dumbledore accepted the post of Minister of Magic?
I think it's interesting to see in that case if Dumbledore could possibly oppose and fight the Death Eaters even better - for one, he would not employ death eaters there at the least, and possibly take steps to prevent Azkaban breakouts as he was aware of Voldemort's return. Plus, if he assumed the position early on, surely he would make even more impactful changes as well.
There are so many questions this would bri g up it could be a multi part series. Like who would have been chosen as headmaster since McGonagall had barely started teaching when he became HM. (She was hired by him when he was head of department. I mean if you go by her original timeline not the crap they started with Fantastic beasts where she was teaching 8 years before she was born. )
There is also the question of what he would do about the dementors since he hated them and who would guard the prison if he removed them.
Would he have known all the things he knew about Harry and if so who would he trust to interact with him to train him where he needed him trained.
Would Snape still be at hogwarts.
There are so many areas it would impact. Like Sirius going to prison without trial.
He never wanted to accept it because he knew he was not good with power. He never wanted that much power because he knew there was a part in him that would be corrupted. He found out that early on when he was with Grindalwald. I don't really know what it would mean for him. But in real life, I have seen good people change when they got in positions of power.
I feel like Dumbledore’s greatest strength is his wisdom. Yes he’s very powerful and very smart, but it’s his ability to truly understand what makes people tick and to see the bigger picture. I also think he passed a lot of this on to Harry because when he was teaching him how to defeat Voldemort, he didn’t teach him curses or dueling techniques. He taught him the importance of knowing his enemy’s strengths and weaknesses and of the limits of dark magic and the true unlimited power of love. Ultimately he was a philosopher.
A Very Good Video 👌🏻👍🏻

I would have put harry higher cause technically he did cheat death twice also I’m surprised that lily isn’t on here because she did sacrifice herself for harry and love is kinda like the most powerful thing in the wizarding world and muggle world
Nah I think harry barely gets on to the list because jf his defeat for voldemort but he only did that cos he had to and was only particularly skilled at DADA and j think james abd sirius were better tbh becoming animagus but defeating the greatest wizard of all time is better which is why harry has to be kn the list
I mean the Love protection charm only comes out in a person's greatest and absolute necessary need. The power of Love is Ancient Magic which had all but disappeared from the modern wizarding world which is why Voldemort couldn't counter it at all
Love this!
