The way I see it, this isn't a fail but a moment of pure legend! The show would have been forgettable if it weren't for his yak. But from that day forward, that concert will be forever known as the one where the drummer spewed all over the place and just kept going. He's a trooper!

The only "fail" I could probably consider is that as performers (musicians, actors, probably athletes too), we are instructed to have a very light meal an hour o more before a performance (and depending the kind of performance). Not everybody can handle the onstage stress the same way, and thats one of the many consequences that may happens after such effort, as in that great solo.
Although, despite the small pause due the throw up, the recover is fantastic, and the joy in his face meaning "I DID IT!!" after going back to play, thats priceless!
I hope they didn´t make him clean his mess, lol!

The same thing happened to a drummer in my band class. I guess everyone looks forward to the drummers. I mean, they basically steal the show 95% of the time. They are loud and pretty badass. Some kids just cant handle the attention.
I saw a video of another drummer that vomited at a show (it made its rounds on the internet a few months ago).
The thing is these videos are always labelled as a "fail" but the solos are always badass.

Of course, he just vomited out all of the deep dark things that stopped him from doing anything he wanted, and just need a few seconds to recuperate before continuing. Besides, drummers don't get enough credit, and when people say it's just banging on stuff, they obviously are either a beginner to music or just uneducated. I'm a drummer and a bass player, and both players get a lot of shit, but the guitar/trumpet/flutes/everybody else, oh it's so "hard" to play their instrument just because they have to blow air through a reed/mouthpiece! Drumming and bass makes you get blisters, but woodwinds don't! I seriously don't see how covering holes with your fingers on a wind instrument would hurt at all...
You can't talk trash on other instruments if you haven't played them. It's hard to learn any instrument.
