Aillio - Infrared Bean Temperature Sensor (IBTS)

Infrared temperature sensing works by measuring infrared light emitted from objects. We are able to measure the surface temperature of the bean mass in real-time, with no lag.
Because the measurements are taken from a distance rather than relying on direct contact with the bean mass, the IBTS is not affected by batch size the same way that traditional probes are, making all the data it collects more meaningful. First crack temps occur at the same temperature regardless of batch size.
