Your mum sounded a great person I’ve seen many of ABBA documentaries where you and your mum were interviewed, ABBA music changed my life when in my teens here in the UK in the early 90’s and now I’m recovering from major heart problems ABBA songs have helped me .
Not appearing on Countdown when they toured was a monumental mistake, Molly would have been justifiably miffed and so the program was lukewarm to them for the period 77-80, then totally ignored them in 81-82.
🤔Will never understand the lack of chart success for the singles from ABBA's great albums, "Voulez-Vous" and "Super Trouper"............in the Land Down Under. It is a mystery to me, because that is when their greatest music was produced.
I was involved in all this as a child of the Australian ABBA generation. We loved them so much. But looking back now and seeing interviews etc… I think they would have preferred the adulation from the USA than us. Bjorn is a business man seeking $$$.
unfortunately very little abba tour material but an endless row of rather uninteresting people with an opinion instead. l'm disappointed. but thanks for posting.
I can only assume you’re not Australian because it was full of Australian media and music personalities, as well as a few devoted fans. Not to mention Lasse Hallström who filmed their iconic videos that launched them here.
The irrational backlash hate is so bizarre but emblematic of mob bandwagon mentality. The same types who hate movies because it's cool to hate them, like hating Rocky V or David Lynch's Dune.
Ridiculous complaints about ABBA, Sweden is not and never has been a 'socialistic country'. they have a capitalist economy with welfare safety nets. As for pornography lol, sure Agnetha is obscenely hot, but she can't help that. The girls show a bit of thigh occasionally but that's about it, and the songs are extremely wholesome and non sexual. Some Karens will are just attention seekers.
Me & Mum ☺ I miss her more than words can say. It's nice to have this footage and memory with her 💕

A gem of a documentary, adding further context and perspective to the ABBA story. Refreshing to see.
I'm watching now. Really enjoying it! Thanks for posting! ❤🎉

Vielen Dank für die Dokumentation. Da werden Erinnerungen wach.
It does play hard & fast with a few statistics but overall an entertaining documentary.
Thank you...😊

There was a movie made of Abbas' tour of Australia in 1977. It used to be on CZcams but I can only find short clips now.

The Mamma Mia music video looks like it was taken just after Agnetha gave birth.
And the Money Money Money video pokes fun at wealth as they grab a fistful of $1 bills!!! 😃😃😄🤪
pls more Black Eyed Peas videos!!!!
