It never gets old watching you rebuild the transmissions in the dozers. I really can’t believe you don’t have at least 500k followers you’re better than any other CZcamsrs on the channel.👍👍👍
Thanks
seasick tv would be an apropriate name for this channel
I don’t see how you remember where all those parts go! It’s good to watch your expertise! Plus patience and willingness to share your knowledge with others! Watching Hunter learn from you is awesome!
Having the book helps!
He takes lots of pictures 😂
It's called editing 😅
And above all he’s done it a few times before. Like his whole life.
You work with equipment for that many years it becomes second hand to you
Clint, great to see you teaching Hunter how to disassemble and repair the transmission, that is how I learned many things from my Dad about 70 years ago.
These videos should be part of a vocational technical schools credits. Awesome 👌
Damn straight they should be!
Hunter and Tucker you guys are lucky to have a dad who works on kool stuff and even if he doesn’t work on kool stuff you’re still lucky
So funny i was thinking the same thing. Do these boys know how lucky they are to get an education like this at such a young age. Skills they will use the rest of their lives.
Your boys may think it's torture working with you, but they will appreciate it down the road and thank you one day. They are getting invaluable lessons!
Hunter is really coming along - having Clint as a master class professor is priceless!
A c& c video and a diesel creek video in one day enjoy both channels
Haha, I worked with my dad for many years on a grain farm - he owned it so he was the boss. A fact I was reminded of often !! All is good !! I didn’t end up robbing a convenience store as a result of this arrangement.
Lots of learning going on today for Hunter. Good job Hunter. You have the BEST TEACHER EVER!
I have to admire you for teachinging the boys. Sometimes it sucks being the teacher and other times it sucks being the student. I have the advantage of having been both and now my son teaches me things. Our children speak volumes of us as parents and you are are no different. We all had to walk before we ran. Keep up the good work.
I enjoy listening to you tell how to disassemble a 40 year old tranmission from memory.
You are a great teacher Clinton and a brilliant mechanic. You're sons will do well in anything they do being set such a good example in work ethics. Well done clinton
I am impressed with how CLEAN you keep your tools. Obviously it is a priority.
A father imparting a lifetime of knowledge to his son life skills that will help him even if he decides on another career great work great video. After spending a lifetime working with my father I know sometimes things get fraught but these are the times you will look back on and smile great video.
Love seeing Hunter's engagement, he seems to be invested in learning with his dad!
Great day! C&C video posted and Dirt Perfect live inside the C&C shop!! Glad to see you guys doing so much for your field of business! From owner operators to quality shop repair and rebuilding these construction beast! Great to see Hunter and Tucker working with the entire team at C&C Equipment!! Thanks Guys👍👍
“Another day working with Dad” classic Hunter!! Reminds me of my days with my dad 😂 great job guys!!💪🤗🇺🇸
Watching you and Hunter rebuild the transmission was great. A great learning experience. One of the best channels on CZcams.
Its always hard working with a very intelligent person. I held a flashlight for my Dad. Dad is definitely giving loads of information. Hunter has tremendous respect for his Dad. That's all that matters.
Clinton, you are teaching Hunter very well. He will appreciate everything as he gets older. It's nice to watch the rebuild of the old dozer. Thanks for sharing 👍 😊
I think hunter is going to be excellent mechanic on dozens he really pays attention to detail
Dozer dam automatic correct spelling
Hunter may or may not see it right now but he's getting something that's so awesome for his future
Thank you uncle Scott for helping out.
I’m glad those transmissions are simple to you but as many times as I have watched this video I still don’t want to try to fix one but I enjoy watching you!
Well at least when your done the owner will basically have a good reliable dozer that will last for many years. Better than a new one and cheaper.
Always listen to Kevin! It’s ok to laugh but not to often as you may hurt his feeling😂 The main reason I enjoy watching your videos is that nothing is left with even a remote chance of failure and all repairs are done to the highest standard and manufacturer specs 🏴👍🏻
Be nice to see the old stuff rescued. Dave D.
Many thanks for the great videos. Im in Australia and have a 455G loader. Transmission has blown up so these videos will be invaluable to me. Thanks mate.😊
nice 2 see uncle scott help you out in the last few videos well done uncle Scott
another great video, greetings from Wales
diolch
A Great video , thank you for the share Clint . Lovely to see dad working with son 😊 Wow !!! uncle Scot had a big smile too 😁
Don't you just love your kids when they embarrass you on national TV, Clint 'did you see me take out', Hunter 'nope' even though he was stood there when you did. As per usual great banter in the workplace, the only thing I miss since retiring. 👍
I'm totally impressed how much you folks have fun and screw around but you miss no item when it comes to rebuilding equipment. I just had a hydraulic leak fixed on a Deere 27 zts.... parts $160 labor $2800.....
Another great video, with the amount of banter on the shop floor, can only imagine the smoko' table chat. Give me six tradies a lunch table and half an hour a day we could solve the world's problems.
You guys amaze me, just to be sure of what goes where but when. Then to be able to show how the clutch’s work.
Watching you teach your boys is a great example to set. Watching them learn... Priceless. lol. The luckiest of us remember learning things from our fathers, memories. Can you imagine going back and watching your father teach you, years from now? That is something both your boys can cherish in the future. I would love to be able to do that.... 😎
Awesome job C&C Crew! Kevin, you duh man! Take care and I’ll see y’all down the road…
Remember Dad, you can catch more bees with honey than you can vinegar, Hunter is young and learning, thank you for sharing this very informative video with the viewers. These are top-notch videos, well done, waiting on the next one
I think people enjoy in-depth videos like this. Hunter is going to be a real good mechanic.
Knows how its goes together after rebuilding alot of them. I used to watch my Dad do them , till it came time for me to work on thing alone. Dad's are good teachers.
Smart engineering on that drive transmission. Simplicity and functionality combined is what made old tractors timeless.
It's great to see you teach apprentice the rite way. So he can do it himself someday.
Great seeing you working with your sons. My favorite times were spending it with my son in the garage building my bobber! Hunter loose the hat or cut your hair.
Another Great Show!! I figured out how to watch youtube on my TV. Now when I have nothing good on 685 channels, I tune in C & C Equipment!!! Your shop is a Beauty!!!Plenty of room and talk about well stocked with both tools and parts!!! One quick question: Is Uncle Scott your Dad's brother? Yes I hit the Like Button!!!
Uncle Scott is married to Mr C’s sister 😉😉 thanks for asking 🥰
Uncle Scott is my brother in law
I just love how you instruct those young men. I love how patient you are with them and teach them about the part. I’d love to have you as a boss. You are a great man. I think I found you from Diesel Creek. I’m subbing you.
Hey Clinton, Absolutely fascinating to watch the trany rebuild! You make it look so simple! Great video! Thumbs up! Jim
Clint the man with lots of patience! And a good teacher also.
as the saying goesever day is a school day love your video
I mimic last comment - patience with Hunter. Everyone is different - including your awsome boys.
This is just the kind of video my brain needed on a hot and humid Friday afternoon 👍🏻
Good selection for the time lapse music btw
As a operator only really enjoy watching you guys working on gear and getting a understanding of how things work that as I the operator wreck over time .
Clint : as usual excellent video on the Deere 450g dozer 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 Boston wise guy 🇱🇷🇮🇪🦉
It's an awesome thing to work/teach side by side w/ your sons. Keep doing it!
I often wonder who will do these jobs in the future due to the lack of desire in young people. It’s inspiring to see young men learning these skills that keep America moving.
Great job Clint & Hunter. The skills you are learning will be very valuable in the future Hunter.
No matter what field those boys go into in life , they will leaps and bounds ahead of the others. They have a trade , they understand how things work , most importantly , they can take instructions.
Uncle Scott is a valuable asset with a careful touch.
You and your son work well together, glad to see that, I had similar experiences with my dad. Great video.
Hey man love your videos!Sorry but I am a disabled Vet and have to pinch my pennies. Can't afford your premium stuff but your videos are great! Thanks for giving me something good to watch!!!!!!
Clint: Even though you’ve been working on heavy equipment since you were a toddler, it’s still amazing how much information you know about every piece of equipment that comes through your shop. Great videos, and thanks for sharing.
IT'S TRANNY TIME STORY HOUR AT C&C, KIDDING. THOSE TRANSMISSIONS ARE PRETTY WILD DESIGN.
Can't wait to see the cable machine. The first dozer I was allowed to run as a kid was a cable Traxcavator on a D4. I was told if I could start it, I could run it. The pony was as much as a 7 year old could do!
Hunter is one lucky son to work with dad great video thanks Clint and Kevin and Hunter
Something we don't see everyday highly interesting how it works, well done men.
Nice job Clint you and Hunter reminds me of my apprenticeship in a similar shop to yours some of the older Tradies seemed picky but now im thankful for the knowledge they passed on to me
Hunter you wont always be Grass Hopper, one day you will be the Master😊😊😊.
And Uncle Scott in the shop again nice
Kym
Adelaide
very interesting to see that one plate broekn in half and sitting on top of the other half like that, in all the channels IU have watched and all the repairs that I have seen, I have never seen one like that either.
Best darn apprenticeship you can get in this heavy equipment repair/recondition field; youngsters are great students and many cases are eager to get hands on. Really patient teacher, at least after editing .😊
@ C&C Equipment
@ 48:10 I appreciate seeing the ol' tire valve stem on the air nozzle trick ;-)
Thanks for the great videos !!
The video is very interesting...seeing parts stripped down ...checked then reassembled using new parts...also pointing out the faults why it didnt work...Stay safe and see you on the next one
Mr Clint, your knowledge and experience of these machines is incredible
And brilliant to see young blood learning how to mend stuff with spanners and not laptops
Thanks for sharing guys 👍
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Always interesting and entertaining to watch a transmission be rebuilt. Wishing you and your family the best.
Looking forward to seeing the winch operated dozer repairs. Back in the day my father had a rather large winch operated dozer.
Hunter is an awesome awesome kid !!!
So glad to see you guys using the Milwaukee Power tools! Way cheaper and better than Snap On Power tools! Snap on has the hand tool market for sure, but their power tools are super overpriced and all my Milwaukee Power tools smoke all my Snap On Power Tools!
Your knowledge about these machines is very impressive. Your explanation to Hunter was excellent 👏👏👏🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Your boys are learning a lot Clint great job. I enjoy watching
Great work you guys. This dozer will be great after you get done.
Great job Clinton that old dozer will be like brand new
Hey guys Awesome video Beautiful video I have ran a lot of that year machine in my lifetime never realized that the transmission Had that much going on inside of it.
Fun to see a rebuild. Good job and keep the videos comming.
I'm very glad no appendages were lost during the filming of this episode! I always worry about that because I worked around heavy equipment my whole life and saw it happen quite a few times. I even had it happen to me. Awesome job being safe y'all.
You are doing a good job with your boys, keep it up.
Thanks for showing us how things work and the rebuild process.
Some times learning can be more painful than others. Amazing to watch that rebuild.
Nice father and son job. @ Hunter your dad knows more about John Deere's then 90% of the the dealers. Looking forward seeing you managing the second workshop.
Just made my Friday afternoon great 👍 thank you guys !!!
You guys know what you’re doing .you guys are real mechanics
Fascinating video! I could watch this type of work all day. Thx!
@ Hunter you are so lucky to have a father to teach you these things. I didn't have one when I was growing up and I am 56. I had to learn from other people. It maybe frustrating at times but the knowledge you are getting will last a life time and you can pass it on to your children hopefully. 😃
Professional Bulldozer surgeons !! Unbelieveable memory for all of the parts in the transmission and just like an.operation if any are in the wrong place its very bad news, note Superkev backheeled stripping the transmission !! 😂 Thanks again fellas thumbs up from me...
Clint this reminds me when I was working with my father. Youth says it is painful because he does not know what to expect. Trying to learn all those details is taxing on the brain. Also the brain has to give in to the process instead of fighting it. When things don't go just as planned it sets in motion an emotional response in the young brain because the end of the job is harder to see. In the end all is well and the feeling of accomplishment wipes away all those issues and it is just a matter of time for the young brain to get in sync with the process. Additionally it is a joy to watch you doing these repairs from memory and explaining the differences of older vs newer machinery.
Lovely... kind of reminds me of overhauling John Deere 4440 transmissions back in the eighties. I love this stuff and you know these machines very well.
You're like the best teacher ever Clint you're so patient and you just have a great way about you you don't get mad it's just really cool it's fun watching your videos
It wouldn't be necessary but I 12"x12"x 1 1/2 "thick steel plate with a center hole in the center ( Homemade Tool ) to fit the shaft, would be a nice tool to hold
the clutch housing on the table . That way it would fall over during assemble.
These young guys will be thankful 10 or 15 years , looking back on learning how to work on these dozers.
I wish I had someone to show me this work as a kid . I had to learn everything in life on my own.
I don't own a dozer and know nothing about dozers but what I've learn from watching these videos . I thank you for sharing your videos.
Thanks Clint and the fellas it is a great pleasure watching you guys work.
Good job boys, fix it properly. If only there were more good men like you around Clint
always nice to spend time with all of you. A good shop.
44:08 Good to see that education by humiliation is still going strong!
How can you not learn from watching this channel? I damn sure learned a thing or two since watching. This channel is pure education and entertainment. Drive on Men!
Good Job Uncle Scott!!😉😉
Great video! Great explanation! Clint! Thanks for sharing! 👌👍
