I got a jumbuck and its still going strong at 230000klm. When the time comes i will rebuild the ute mechanically as the body is still in good condition with no rust. Good handling, cheap to run, easy to park, good in traffic and highway.
@@RoadsOfOz I agree. Mine is still going strong and they seem to be going up in price, maybe there getting a bit collectable. I've had several people pull me up and ask questions, which is surprising. I travel 170klm a day in the ute and it hasn't let me down.
@@RoadsOfOz You would be safer in a 09 Hilux it has a 4 star rating the great wall isn't very safe to I've driven a few Jumbuck's when they where new they are an ok ute cheap to run around in and extractors and a better flowing exhaust they seem to respond better.
Both you fellas true as the colour Blue, sorry to break it but.. Anyone is good at driving and Has alot of experience then no doubt you'll be perfectly fine if you do not crash, a few mods here and there but I think these aren't to bad lookin Ute's, rip the front end of and do a conversion as well as an engine conversion, none wrong with these at all. Good review Fella 👍
Yet . . Bike friendly . . Easy to put on it . . Unlike the other high storage pick up that require more energy . . A few moment last . . I realize a benifitial this type of vehicle
@@SuzukiYamaha-dz1xx I have a very early video of me loading my Moto Guzzi on the back of the Jumbuck. Something I would have never done with my current Hilux.
Thank you for soppurting malaysian automotive, I respect you 👍👍👍

Thanks for using my country car.
Have a look at the Jumbuck crash test video it's a very dangerous car in a head on crash and a 1 star crash test rating since 2009.

it was to be expected, the platform dated back from late 80s-early 90s.

@@Barra.The.World. Doesn't help when clowns can't drive on the road around you.
I was looking to buy a jumbuck until I saw the crash test vids on it....
You can compensate by driving safe, or sober
@@adude8424 can’t compensate for other drivers
just front cut swap to a dodge ram, easy
I got a 115k jumbuck with a new clutch for $4500 from Sydney. Did I get ripped off? You mentioned you sold your's for 1900k? That's a bargin!
My postie bike fits into my Jumbuck with the tailgate up, happy days!
I have an earlier video of me loading the Griso into the back. Something I would never dream of doing in the Hilux.
This car high in price right now at my place
They fluctuate here in Sydney. I struggled to sell mine for $2000 4 years ago. I am seeing them advertised for much higher prices today.
Well said . . Believe it or not some of This used tiny truck had a $ prices nearly $ 7000 in Malaysia . . More expensive than a 2 door used satria . .
Smallest ute in Aussie, the tray is more handy than big dual cab utes and uses less fuel , hopefully these little gems become collectible
