It's crazy how after finishing Breaking Bad 9 years ago, I'm still discussing the show, watching videos about it, and talking to my friends.*
Same here. I'm a huge fan of a lot of shows and movies. But Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul are the only two stories I've ever watched that I consider to be truly perfect. Flawless. From the writing to the acting to the cinematography and everything in between. Vince Gilligan is a top notch writer and he loves working with top notch actors. Can't get enough of it. I rewatch each show about once a year

I personally would’ve liked to have that scene of Kim’s face warped by the elevator still in the episode because as you mentioned, it showcases her corruption, and we get a clear idea of where her mind is going.
It's kinda goofy
It looks too goofy. I think that's the reason they decided to remove it. (More Goofier than the JMM Jimmy scene)
The Gus deleted scene was supposed to take place after he decided not to stay and flirt with the sommelier. That walk off into the darkness would have been Gus' last ever scene which I think would have been really cool.
Interesting
I think 608’s opening would’ve been the perfect spot for the flashback of Kim getting sworn in by Howard, but I absolutely love the cold open with Howard’s car on the beach. Beautiful shot and the only one of the ocean in both shows. Plus it reminds me of the BB 202 open with Jesse’s car outside of Tuco’s house.

Thank you for going through the deleted scenes as well as talk about some scenes that appear to be unreleased at this point. Perhaps one day they’ll have another Blu-Ray complete series set where there will be more stuff included like when Breaking Bad had a complete series release and it came with a bonus disc with the making of documentary. Keep up the great work!

Just rewatched your Mike video again, after watching the Nacho one. So much fun + don't care how long they are, the deeper the better. No law saying they must be viewed in one sitting, took me 3 stops to finish the whole vid, they're so satisfying 😃

A flashback of Kim getting sworn in as lawyer would've belabored the point already made in "Axe and Grind" - Kim resisted the corruption of people important to her and eventually gave in.

The extended sequence of Gene running from the cops in the finale is very reminiscent of a similar deleted extended scene from El Camino where Jesse was escaping from the compound in the beginning of the movie.
When is the Awards ceremony that they still have a chance to win for their last episodes that weren't included in the last one? I hope they finally get the recognition and awards they've earned because a show as great as this is a once in a lifetime experience!
I understand why the warped reflection of Kim was cut. It's way too on-the-nose.
Think it showed the contortions her mind was going thru to survive even just for that day

I'm up to Ep4, Season 2 of Your Honor on Showtime (Bryan Cranston's show) and was shocked and very happy to see Mark Margolis, Don Hector/Tio casually enter a scene as a new character in the show, Carmine Conti a powerful mobster. I hope he's in it through the end!

I too would've loved to have seen the scene of his Esteem all rusted, but I guess it could be seen as an obvious 'look how much time has passed', but still, I'd liked to have seen it!
I thought they had filmed some sort of cold open regarding Kim leaving Red Cloud, wonder if that will ever get released

since the gus scene was supposed to be his final scene, him leaving would have been a nod to him literally leaving the show
there was also that one scene where cliff asks Kim how she ended things with Howard it was in the trailer.

Hey off point question. In 5×03-04(can't remember exactly which was re-rewatching)Mike was getting smashed at the bar,and asked the bartender to take down a photo up on the bar. The bartender first declines but when Mike says please he finally does,but I can't tell what was in the photo

You should do a theory video about what would happen if Jimmy/Gene was able to get in contact with Ed the disappearer in the finale. Would he be successful in getting to the pickup spot? Would he stay in his new cover or blow it like he did with his Gene identity? If he did escape then is the new AMC show "Lucky Hank" a alternate universe spinoff where Jimmy escaped a second time? Who knows?
