Jon Schnepp is fucking awesome. He's one of the best things Collider's Movie talk has going for it, and frankly, one of the only reasons I watch it.

This is an endlessly fascinating conversation on pop culture I love it.
I'm watching this again in honour of Jon Schnepp and it really has brought a great deal of joy, Jon was a truly entertaining person and has always and will always put a smile on my face his absence is felt, my heart goes out to Holly Payne losing her partner I can't begin to imagine the devastation she is felling I can only wish to support her in any and all future projects and it's seemed like Jon and Holly had quite a number of brilliant ideas I pray when the time is right Holly continues the journey they started.

So I finally had to stop this around the twenty min mark and go get this documentary. I watched the entire thing before I came back. I was fantastic. So much I hadn't seen until now.

I saw Schnepp at NYCC 2015. The dude truly is big. About 6'5" and just big .. And really friendly ...he was taking his time and talking to as many people as he could. Looking forward to support his next project.

Just got this in the mail and watched this last night! Loved it!
Man this guys are so right about comic books and the whole world and fandom of super heroes. I must admit that I'm not much of a comic book person, I grew up with the action figures and Batman the animated series as a 90s kid. But my passion for super heroes was reignited when I saw batman begins and still I didn't bother to reinvest in that world of comic books mostly because I didn't know where to start.
When the batman trilogy ended, I found myself wanting more of this world as an adult, I turned to comic books! Reading these stories I realized I was falling in love with the lore, books, art, and reading in general. I bought, read a lot of the classic stories, and as soon as I caught up, I became lost and really didn't like the whole idea of waiting for single issues. I tried, and hated seeing this small portion of a story and art being ruined with wait time and ads within the story. I would love to see this community grow and become better!

great interview guys! you finally found someone who talks more than Kevin himself.
I'd rented this a couple months ago and it was [genuinely] the best documentary I've seen in a long, *long* time. I've had Netflix (i.e. _'The Documentary Graveyard'_) for a while, too: so that's saying something.
Fun, funny, brave, incisive, and chocked full of fascinating anecdotes, lost footage and amazing concept art.
At the end of the day though, it's really just a nerdy little heartfelt look into what these crazy, awesome creative minds had envisioned for this story. Tim Burton's, *_"Superman Lives"_* was one of the greatest tales, never told.
No matter how hesitant you might feel going in -- by the end of it, you're left awestruck, heartbroken and furious we were deprived of this flick (especially considering what we ended up getting).
Great show guys. Loved every minute. Can't wait to see you guys on Collider Heroes as well. Always love this show Kevin & Mark. Keep up the awesome work.

I'm really happy to hear that Schnepp is developing a series. I hope that this means "the death of superman:what happened" went well financially because Schnepp has said multiple times that he had to sell his comic collection etc,and went in debt to create it. He really deserves to succeed,for all the passion he put in this project.. Keep the good job man.. (A sweaty from Greece)
