Love my s23 fe .camera is amazing specially whith a touch of editing in lightroom . Never had any slowdown or heating issues . Get about 7 to 8 hours screen on time

I have this phone and I'm really happy with it.
Good performance
Decent camera ( I had p40 pro by Huawei before so I honestly thought that camera was better on Huawei)
I only have some problem with Snapchat that when I open camera to send snap sometimes it freezes for first time with black screen and then works normally.. probably just some glitch
Oh yes . I don't like battery life. Its not bad . But I'm very demanding user.
I Get out and use navigation in car (GPS) and listen to music and soon battery is on 69%
However I'm happy with my purchase
can I buy it or not, else go to the Chinese brand mobs, purely because of battery drain and heating issue??
do you update your s23 fe to one ui 6.1? Mine's battery doesn't last longer, and when I'm charging , when it reacher 90% it's starting to charge backward

it's not working on my s21+
It's taken me 5 months to get use to the S23fe after using the s20fe. I liked the s20fe ergonomics better, larger screen and lighter weight. But, alas, upgrading is needed if you want to get 5g on the sub tier provider plans.
The s20fe, like all S20s, was the first gen of 5g phones in Canada by Samsung (S10 5g wasn't sold here.) Many carriers don't support the S20 lineup for 5g in Canada. The x55 modem on the snapdragon doesn't have all the needed bands and branded unlocked phones are carrier unique so many 5 g features are locked out. People end up rooting the phone to the American S20 versions to get 5g to work here. This causes some issues with apps like Samusung pay not working properly since it's now US banking oriented not Canadian banking.
5g wasn't launched until the end of 2020 in Canada so Candian versions didn't get versatile with 5g in the S20s. Also carriers could do whatever they wanted with 5g since it's regulations were fairly open by the crtc back then unlike 3g or lte. ie S20 will get 5g on Telus but not Telus's sub brands like Koodo or Public Mobile with 5g plans. The S20 could work universally if it got the updates to unlock certain features but Samsung is no longer updating the S20 line up. You need S21 or newer to run 5g on many mid tier or budget providers.
The Galaxy S23 FE may be my go to upgrade from my A54. What do others think?
You should just get the regular s23 the chip setup grade is worth it
Its the same physical design as the a55. Not worth the price. Might as well get a normal s23

Got mine and love it. Snapdragon variant though.
Only thing I dont like is the weak ass vibration.
It's very weak. I don't feel it in my pocket or hear it vibrate on the table in front of me. The sucker is cranked up all the way. Maybe it would respond better without the case but it's the worst I had between S9, S20fe and S23fe. All with cases.
Do the games lags while playing games like warzone mobile? Because mine it lags and is brand New with snapdragon 8 gen 1 and 8gb ram

Basically i do not recommended any fe series buying a fe mobiles with samsung was so worest experience recently i updated my mobile s21fe i have green line issue they are not replacing the fe series mobiles but keeping aggressive prices and decreasing prices in online websites their are forcing to buy next gen mobiles samsung should look into this issue are else in future their will be no fe series and no will buying it...
Nah, like there are better phones like xiaomi 13t pro but it’s a good option

theres a snapdragon version which is a lot better.
Poor battery life, inefficients processors (both), virtual proximity sensor, thicker bezels even than S21 FE. Samsung drop the ball.
The proximity sensor works perfectly fine on mine, i dont know if its a virtual one
I got the S23 FE Snapdragon Edition and it works great with like 8 hours of screen on time, proximity sensor works perfectly and who cares about bezels like what is this 2008?

@@aprilsustal7951 Got the newest update and it works amazing! The galaxy A.I is really cool and my phones never been faster. Battery can easily last 8 hours of screen on time and it only takes an hour to charge from 0-100
