    Good interview Adam!
    Over here in the UK, we get the same thing, slightly different blends in fuel. I'm talking only 150miles between north and south England.
    Also now standard UL is now E10 and super/premium is E5 and 95 / 99 RON.

    In germany we have "aral" gasstations, we get here 102 octane. Shell does have V power here, with 100 Octane. Most of us use only Aral 102 Ultimate for tuned cars. Greetings from Germany, awesome content Vancity Audi.

      Thanks for watching all the way in Germany! Just so you're aware the octane ratings of your fuel in Germany are not measured the same as they are in North America. Your 102 octane fuel is equivalent to roughly 96 octane in North America. Still higher than the majority of our gas stations carry but it isn't as high as you think compared to fuel here in NA.

    Great interview. Thanks for sharing. After watching your video comparing Chevron to Shell fuels, is Shell exceeding fuel standards whereas Chevron is not? Specifically with respect to octane, I can't help but wonder if Shell is overachieving on octane or if Chevron is underachieving to the point of misrepresenting the octane rating of their fuels.

    • @VancityAudi

      @just.a.simplejoe Před rokem

      @Vancity Audi thanks for the reply back! In your best opinion, between the fuel in LA vs Canada... would it be possible the power provided by 93 octane in the US could be less? Obviously a shot in the dark to ask a loaded question but I've recently switched to shell in my area on the east coast and noticed enough of a difference after a full week of performance events to start searching online about their fuel lol. It just feels better than Sunoco Ultra-Tech 93 or any top tier fuel I can get.

      @@just.a.simplejoe More than likely the 93 octane fuel you are using your area in the States is better than the 93 we have in Canada. Most of our Provinces have 91 and not 93. On the East Coast they have some 93 but the go to over there is their 94 fuel. If you ever want to know simply datalog your car. *Just to clarify, the Shell stations that currently don't offer 93, but only 91, is still the superior fuel over Chevron 94? I went on a road trip into interior BC and had to choose between Chev 94 and Shell 91... Picked Chev 94. I think I made a mistake, lol. But I wasn't sure if the Shell stations that only had 91 was getting the new formulated gas yet.*
