People kept running over our neighbors mailbox. Then he replaced the post with a 4 inch steel tube filled with concrete. Problem solved.

I want to mount my mailbox to a round pole with 2" diameter. What brackets can I get to clip around it? Thank you.l
Great question! One quick question back to you… are you mounting directly to the top of a vertical round post or are you mounting to a horizontal round post (so the mailbox will sit on top of that horizontal round pole)?
@@ReluctantDIYersI am mounting directly on top of the radial metal pole. I have look at brackets, but they are all square at the bottom, I guess it's bc they mount on wood.

This will give you an idea of what is available to assist. Just make sure you buy one that fits the diameter of your pole. I hope this helps!

I always prefer metal. They are way more durable and I think they look nicer as well. 👍🏼👍🏼

I just bought a huge barnlike mailbox and Im a little worried on how to mount that...
Those barn mailboxes usually mount best on a full wooden 4x4 post with the wooden cross post (not PVC like mine).

I bought a new mailbox I'm wondering why is there screw holes on the inside of the mailbox.
Where are the screw holes?
I know about the screw holes on the side that go into the wood. I'm talking about the floor of of the mailbox it has four screw holes. Inside the mailbox
I'm wondering if those holes are for a different installation method
@@stringlocker Exactly. If the holes are in the bottom of the mailbox, that’s what this is for.

You'd be amazed how many people don't bother having address numbers displayed anywhere, even though its required by law.
There really are a ton of people who fail to install those… crazy isn’t it?
