Thanks a lot for the video! I had to replace my mailbox that someone backed up their car into but didn't care to let us know :) and your video really helped
Thanks for the feedback! 🙏
I have never removed & installed a mailbox and or post before and your video was very helpful. Thank you for this video.
Great! Thanks for the feedback! I’m glad it was a help! 🙌👍😁
You can pull out the old one like that if there is concrete around it?? I feel like it wouldnt move without at least back hoe or a truck dragging out out like the other guy said
Nice vid.
I’m going to pull my old post out with my truck. 😁
I'm doing this right now in Alaska, bugs in the woods and side of road half mile from my house. Not quite the same terrain at all but appreciate the concept of plumb. Took the whole structure up the road to my house and laid it out on driveway to re drill holes in new post. Get it back to the roadside? It will get done one way or other, with some help or not. I don't know what I'm doing with the drilling the holes into the 4x4 and looked on here to find out. I'm not a carpenter, I'm a do-all housekeeper beyond retirement age. Plumb video. Thank you.
Thanks for the feedback!
Nice video! Nice Jokes! Nice tips! Thank you!
Thanks for the feedback! 👍
Odd question but if you got irrigation lines for sprinkler system and concern about depth of lines and post depth when digging?
Ya, I’d be sure look out for sprinkler and utility lines. Remember to call 811 before digging so utilities will get marked. For sprinklers, it would probably be odd for the lines to be that close to the street.
do you do any digging around the old post before using the car jack?
I didn’t need to. The jack pulled it right out without digging.
When you took out the post, did you use that same hole to put the new post in??
Yep. I dug it a little deeper but it was the same hole.
@@MidAgedDad thanks!
What color is this? Whitewash?

Lol
If you have a post that is buried in concrete, hit it 10 times with a sledgehammer to break the underground concrete around the post. Then dig and remove the broken concrete. You can also hit the exposed concrete with the sledgehammer. Hit the post a few times again with the sledge hammer, dig some more, repeat the process. Eventually, you will be able to pull the post out of the ground.
Thumbs down and unsubscribe for me. Deceptive marketing is the reason, he shows a pic of how to remove it yet when you click in its a lie, he doesn't show you that at all. No good.
Hmm. Did you watch the video? I do show my tío for removing it and for installing a new one.
Are you drunk? 😂😂
Just fly in from stupid town, bud?
