My Set Up would be: Laptop > 1/8 inch to Dual 1/4 jacks > Right 1/4 jack (Track) straight into the mixer (PA) and Left 1/4 jack (Click) into the Headphone Amplifier so the drummer can plug his earphones. This Set Up would work?

how do i separate may click to the main speaker. i do not know how the click is only in drummer monitor
You'll need to turn up the click channel into the monitor channel(s) only, and turn it down in the main speakers.
