You are so right Gerry about these boats selling fast. I've turned down 3 offers for my TT up here in Michigan and I've never put it up for sale. The last one was close to what I paid for it because the guy didn't want to put a new one together. Glad JD sold his and sorry to see him go after all the work he did. I must of missed that Memo about Freedom Electric moving from 36 pound to 45 pound trolling motors. I wish sometimes I had a little more speed and power as well. Do they offer an upgrade?
Steve, Even Frank from FEM says there 45 pound thrush motors provide no real increase in speed but he claims the boat to be more responsive.
I suspect if you wanted to buy new 45 pound thrust motors from FEM they would certainly take your money and sell them to you. You could go into business buying new Twin Trollers, assembling them, and reselling them! 🙂 Gerry

John, Yes for a boat that has been only been in the water twice that has almost anything I would have put on a new boat. Add the cost of all those items and the fact that the boat and trailer and motor are already assembled and I think you would be saving a bunch of money with this boat. It is as close to new and ready to go as you can get and is ready to fish now. Gerry
@@LunkerFishing are those 45lb thrust motors available to replace our 36lb motors? I watched the video again to catch the model on the outboard motor and then I heard you say, 45lb thrust. Hold on!!
Ever since fishing these Missouri small rivers since 2018, I quickly realized the outboard and trolling motors just didn't have enough power.
I hate upgrades..grrrrh😤
@@johncollins7044, All new TT's have 45 pound thrust motors now. Frank says they do not increase the speed but allow you to maintain better responsiveness to the boat. I do not have the new motors so I cannot give you feedback on how they operate different from the original motors. Possibly someone else can provide feedback here. Gerry
