- Adam Rayner attended the Carp After Combat carp match held at Medway Valley Fisheries - and chatted to a number of stars, including Jim Davidson.
It's an event for fundraising for Care After Combat, a charity that Jim holds dear as part of a career-long commitment to our armed forces.
A couple of other carpy stars in the form of Lee Jackson and Jerry Hammond were also interviewed.

I had forgotten Jim was an angler and its nice to see another side to him and how passionate he really is about supporting the troops rather than gaining publicity and money for doing so. Interview has a quirky method of interviewing but I cannot imagine its easy to do Thanks for posting just started fishing at 66 so lot to learn.

You’re bang on the money Jim, the amount of patrols us lot had to put on just so some politician bell ends could have a photo op in a bazaar to say they been on the ground etc, just makes ya despise them more.
