Watches are EXPENSIVE. Whether it is a Seiko, or a Rolex, or Jaeger-LeCoultre - these are all a ridiculous amount to pay for a thing that tells you the time. (Which your phone already does) But you know, even though they are expensive, there are some that are absolutely WORTH IT and worth their price tag! So that's what we are talking about today! We've got Rolex Datejust, Omega Seamaster, Tudor watches, and so many more!

I will never regret buying a Patek, same way I will never regret buying a castle ❤
LOL. I've always related to the first half of the Patek slogan "you never own a Patek Philippe"..... ;)
@@BrittPearceWatches 😭 same
A castle is great if you have serfs.
Sure, cause maintenance costs are fairly similar lol
Well done for including the likes of Seiko and Hamilton in a list of "expensive" watches. After all, for most people, several hundred pounds for a watch is a lot.
it’s genuinely so sad that a plain old OP being available in the window is somehow exciting news
🤣 we are coming out of strange times! It’ll be the norm again soon! (Well, that would be my prediction! 😅)
I will never regret my Omega Seamaster 300. It was my first luxury watch, and it still brings a grin to my face every time i look at it.
Gah! YES! It is the one! 💕 big congrats on owning this one! I’d really love to own a SMP one day!
@@BrittPearceWatches Genuinely surprised not one Cartier made the list. Admittedly, I'm biased. The Santos Dumont is my first luxury watch purchase. The Santos and the Tank Louis to come.
Agreed 👌🏾
Just recently bought a Longines spirit Zulu as my first “luxury” watch and I couldn’t be happy. I smile everytime I look at it
I have 3 Oris watches. Love them all. No regrets.
Get IN! I should have really included oris in this one!
Yes finally someone mentions Citizen!! They have been dropping beautiful pieces recently and I love IFL
Citizen is absolutely killing it! I have a quartz video and best quartz watches video that heavily featured Citizen as well! 💕👏🏻 Citizen Group is a force to be reckoned with as well!
The Omega Aqua Terra and Rolex Datejust (fluted bezel) are IMO watches that you can't go wrong with in terms of versatility, iconic designs, and timeless design ques.
SALTY IN THE HOUSE! 💕✨ and this is why we get along so well. YUP! Completely agree here! (Obviously 😝)
Beautiful video good job.💯👍
That Stainless, smooth bezel Datejust with a silver dial speaks to me. I love a classic.
RIGHF?! Classic as it gets! 😍
10:22 Yay I made it on your video! Quick update, I was walking past my local AD (in the UK this time, not abroad) and they had a GMT Master II "Zombie" in the window for sale, so I bought it! I've been in the market for a GMT Master II for a while now so this made my day. This was alongside the usual Datejust and Sky-Dweller pieces they also had.
My current non-regret is the Moonswatch that my son acquired for me when he was in Geneva - he loved the experience of buying something 'rare' and I value the thought and care that went into the purchase. It might be 'just a plastic watch' but it's my plastic watch. Love what you do.
Oh this is such a sweet story! And that’s the thing with watches - they are so much more than the sum of their parts! 💕💕💕
Your list vids are always so fun.
Ahhh I’m so glad you enjoy them! I really love making these! 💕✨
I love how real and relatable and genuine and funny you are in all your videos! I very much enjoyed watching you and the infos that you give us! Thank you❣️🙏
I started my collection by buying 5 highly recommended watches: the Murph, the Seiko 5 GMT, the Seiko Alpinist, the PRX, and the Orient Bambino. I don't regret any of the five.
NOT PUTTING THE BAMBINO IN HERE IS A BIG MISS ON MY PART!!!
So far, I love my 20 year old quartz Omega AT 36. Thanks for the video!
Excellent video, Britt!
Ahh thank you! I’m so glad you enjoyed! 💕✨
Great video as always but I have to say I have particularly loved this one, I own a Seiko skx009j1 that obviously cannot be missed in a watch collection, a seiko slim turtle SPB317J1 black dial that I just bought literally two days ago which I wear operationally at work and I intend to use it also on holiday on the beach, and then I have a Tudor black bay 36 black dial ,the old version, the one you made a video comparison of, I consider the BB36 a real jewel it’s simply perfect and as you said a valid option to the op without being worried of being around with a Rolex, I wear the Tudor on holiday in the evening or if I am not on the beach and in my week ends off. I am after a Tudor royal 41 blue which will be my next purchase. My dream watch to complete more my collection would be a Rolex date just two tones champagne dial as the one shown in this video but it’s too expensive I definitively cannot afford it but I am happy anyway Xx
With a new found fascination in movements and lovely dials my Glasshutte original is a keeper.
Great shout the GS Suwa ❤
Really fantastic video! Very positive.
Hi Britt, great as always,
My blue dial, three hand Vacheron overseas ……. Absolutely stunning!!!!!
Anyone think the Patek Nautilus looks like a sanitary towel?
💀 well I DIDNT. BUT NOW I CANT UNSEE IT! Big props for getting the pads with the wings.
@@BrittPearceWatches the only way to fly 😂
Cartier is also a brand I wouldn't regret. Designs are timeless so can wear it forever and have a relevant design on your wrist.
I do not regret buying my Explorer 40mm but i regret buying my bronze Black bay 58. As now i feel i need the new gold bb58 😅
BAHAHA! Oh I need to see the new gold BB58 in person! I think you still might have the better buy with that bronze 😅 the way they finished the gold looks a bit bronze-ish! But I need to see one in the metal!
I love that you mentioned the SLGA021. It seems to be the least popular of the Lake Suwa variations, but I chose that one after careful consideration between it and the SLGA019. It's one of my favorite watches!
How do you feel about purchasing Vintage? I never purchased a Carier Roadster , always wanted one. Tourneau has a few. Should I purchase or buy another newer style? I am anxious about purchasing a 15 yr old watch.
I’ll add some….Longines,Kurono,Glashütte…very excited to know what you think about Furlan Marri…
Ouuu SOOO TRUE! And big misses on my part! I especially love the Kurono being on there 😍
Hello, what is your opinion about omega constellation 36mm quartz? Steel with black dial. Thanks
I like your new Bauhaus Posters!
Andrew Morgan is the shiz. Thumbs up for the thumbs up.
🤣🤣 only the real ones stay till the end!
For the higher end, I do really like Grand Seiko and Patek. And even though certain variations/references can be overpriced…I do really like the two tone Rolex DateJust. For my particular style and use; I could have one of those and basically never need another watch.
Man, if I could ever own a Patek one day.... I wouldn't be able to believe it! I could die a very very happy woman! And you're so right with the datejust! It's all someone really needs!
i got a Patek for 3-4 grand from my close friend and have hold them since 2009 , it rose more than 7k, and i gotta say Patek hold value better than any other watches brands besides Rolex.
So true!
If this matters
@@alexandrerojkov9429 ok
Casio Pro Trek, something I never regret buying, second is Henry Archer. I am Citizen fangirl but I have to admit I was regret a bit in buying Eco-Drive GMT
Ahha is in the HOUSE! Oh NOOO regret in the Eco Drive GMT eh! I’d love to know why! I really really like Citizen!
@@BrittPearceWatches I was too impulsive then, not that the watch was not cool, but I feel like I never treat it well enough and always skip to wear something else, like Citizen Sailhawk
Hi Britt, what about Longines? IWC? Lange? Cheers Pete 🙂
Love Christopher Ward! Can't wait for your review of the CW Twelve X Ti, what a beauty!
5227G, 5140J with a 124270 for pure sportiness. Pretty much have the collection I’ve always wanted.
YES! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Happy you did not mention the overhyped AP - which makes me cringe remembering my service bill and overal build quality
Love the Bauhaus poster btw.
Thank you! 😅 nomos has inspired me!
The Reverso is definitely sportier than the Cartier Tank. The Roman numerals and the crown with the cabochon of the Cartier are particularly dressy - but you can wear it with a T-Shirt too, for contrast 😅
So true!!!
I won’t regret buying my Seamaster 300 Professional, my GS SBGA413, or my Panerai pam 01312. Right now I’m torn between adding a base logo Panerai, a Black Bay 925, or another Grand Seiko 🤔
White speedy is my next big "event" watch. It's just ... perfect.
Orient watches are doing really well these days. My pick will be the bambino 38 and the Kamasu
You know! I really regret not putting an Orient in here! BIG MISS GRINGLES!
I have the presage cocktail dial…. One of my fav watches and still wear it a ton nearly 3 years later.
Love my tudor black bay 41 , only regret is not spending more and getting the red master version instead of saving the few hundreds for black and blue version.
Really interesting vid, Britt - especially across the varying price tiers! I fluctuate between the Patek Calatrave 5196G 37mm in white gold and the Lange Saxonia thin @ 37mm as my ultimate "Posh" watch for special occasions. If I'm being honest the Patek appeals more, but I keep seeing Lange's several thousand pounds cheaper, which always appeals to the Yorkshire man in me!!
Both great but wear very differently… the Patek feels much bigger than the ALS.
@@watchpapi that's really interesting - thanks for the feedback! I've always wanted to know from someone who's experienced both pieces 👍
Britt, the Patek 5212 is NOT an annual calendar, but a weekly calendar. You have to manually adjust it for all months with fewer than 31 days (which is why it has a date quickset at the crown, as opposed to the date adjustment pusher that the Patek annual calendars use).
Ahaha you’re right! I hate myself! I meant to say weekly calendar! What a. Dumb dumb!
@@BrittPearceWatches Don’t be so hard on yourself! I know you know it, and I only know it because I’ve recently gone down a Patek rabbit hole. 🤣
It’s nice to see Hamilton get some love. I’ve been a big fan of Hamilton for years, and even though my collection has moved on from its origins of micro brands and entry lux models, I still have a Hamilton that gets regular wear. In my case, I have a bigger wrist, so I have a Hamilton Khaki Field Far Cry LE, 42mm, but titanium, so it’s super light and easy to wear on a NATO because it’s not very thick, a great summer watch with a low enough profile and the ruggedness to wear while doing just about anything. Rolex, Omega, Nomos, Seiko, they’re all great, but Hamilton has a special place in my heart as well. I have a huge sentimental connection to Omega because my grandfather had one, but Hamilton worked its way in the old fashioned way, by just being really good for the money you pay and having cool designs with some history behind them.
I think the Datejust with the bezel, Roman numerals and the jubilee bracelet is the perfect Rolex.
My seiko SKX 175 was $125 USD 25 years ago, big bucks then.
Great video, Britt. In my opinion, the Rolex Sub is the best watch on this list. Personal biases aside, and though I own and daily wear a 124060, it is, without a doubt, the most versatile and iconic watch in the World. It’s at a price point that makes it affordable, and the build quality is unsurpassed-an excellent combination in anyone’s book. By the way, I love the artwork:-)
My first watch is a Seiko 5 back in early 80’s
Seiko Sarb033 (rip), Omega Aqua Terra, Rolex Datejust (my dream watch) are just classy, pretty and perfect for every single situation.
For anyone interested in the Hamilton Boulton I recommend the midsize small seconds quartz, even with a 7.5” wrist the mechanical wears too large to be considered dressy or elegant, it just looks goofy.
I am an absolute Seiko fan. I would love a vintage King Seiko.
Hajime Asoka is Ha-gee-may Ah-so-kah.
My Omega Seamaster Professional is and has been my everyday worn watch and I never have regretted buying it. My Speedy Moonwatch was a nice buy, but it is a safe queen for my son.
I don't really regret buying it, but the Reverso didn't last long in my collection -- turns out, I'm really not into rectangular watches ... With the possible exception of (pre-TAG) Heuer Monacos.
Where is Cartier??? Not a fan?
😂
She’s loves Cartier 😂👍
Love my Seiko diver
Don't regret Lang 7 Sohne Dual-time, GO Panomatic or NOMOS (though I wish my Club was the quickset date version)
I’ve had my blue Seamaster and Moonwatch for 3 years. I don’t regret buying them. I still enjoy wearing them, so in my opinion it was money well spent.
I love my Grand Seiko Spring Drive but I am terrified to wear it. Its so shiny. Any ding or scratch would make me physically ill. So I place it on a pillow and just gaze at it. So bought the anti-Grand Seiko, the Omega Railmaster with zero polished anything and basically bullet proof. I would wear it to disable an explosive device.
That’s a cool watch. Coaxial, metas but not too shiney
I have 3 Breitlings purchased over 22 years - a Crosswind, a Chronomat Evolution and my 46mm Navitimer. I've never considered selling any one of them and love owning them and keeping them in pristine condition. I wear them all at least once or twice a month. They all work flawlessly to this day.
Never regretted buying my rolex OP watch… more of a watch and jewelry kind of girl because they last and less maintenance compared to luxury bags 😅
4 me it has 2 b Tudor and Grand Seiko.
Ahhh so good! True watch enthusiast tastes. 😍👏🏻
A one watch collection is all I need hahaha.
I can see myself wearing a Patek 5004 as my GADA watch 😅 (only in my dreams).
Just watched Interstellar for the 7th time MAYBE!😅 And! Now I really wanna buy the Hamilton, it sorta gives a connection to the movie, so I would love to have one and the jaegar, that watch is a WONDER!😮 BUT!! my only DREAM WATCH for now is the ROLEX OP CELEBRATION DIAL! hope I get that soon!😢 Thanks for the amazing video WATCH GRINGA!
Bahahaha YES! I think this is your sign to buy a Hamilton! I am right there with you with the OP Celebration! I've got my name down for the 36mm! I AM PRAYING. C'MON AD! Give me that callllllll!
Eyeing the new Tudor Black Bay 58 GMT
Of all these watches, the Steamboat Willie Concept is my favourite. So much fun. I can’t afford it, and my wife would kill me if I could, but it costs nothing to window shop. Thanks Brittney.
But can you tell the diffrence between a $1500 and a $5000 watch? Not so much if you buy knowing what to look for. 😊 I find the higher the dollars the returns diminish.
Canadian Watch Monkey in the HOUSE! OUSHHH, I think I can tell the difference between a $1,500 and $5,000! But it'd just be in finer finishing - but you're right! You;d have to know what to be looking for! Some $5000 watches, I'd definitely say NO tho. There's a few brands I think are a weeeeee bit overpriced ;)
I've just realised that with all the watch reviewers I watch, I think you have the most similiar taste to me!! Or me to you. Whichever way you like to look at it.
And Jenni Elle...
Girl power!!
And then probably Adrian Barker.
All the rest I find I get bored because they get excited over watches I don't.
So, for me, great work!!
Nice vid. I've become a big Tudor Fan. Rolex designs from the 90s, aluminium bezels, with amazing build quality just as good as my Submariner. I dont wear it though, Probably because I keep buying Tudors, first the Bb58 blue, I know you like that one 😊, the reverse panda chronograph love this one it's a man's watch, love it and I've just added an SG Black Bay today even the gold is brushed, less in your face and I love love love the bezel. The only Rolex I'm going to buy is a Deepsea from about 2015 with 44mm of chunky awesomeness I'll trade the Sub for it. For me Tudor is every bit as good as Rolex. Less flashy but mechanically same gravy.
I don't regret buying any of my watches but, in particular, I don’t regret my Explorer 1 36mm or my Aqua Terra 38mm blue dial. Personally, I’d add a quartz Cartier at the £3-4K range, Tank or Santos because, like, it’s Cartier innit?! I’d rather get a Vacheron Overseas Dual Time to a Patek but that’s never going to happen unless I win the lottery.
Hi Britt, I have the opportunity to purchase a Rolex OP with the celebrity dial from my local AD, I had been on the waiting list for a long time, I wanted to give it to my girlfriend but she doesn’t like it, I like it though but probably wouldn’t wear it because of the size, what would you do?
I have a SEIKO KINETIC Stainless Bracelet Watch - 5M63-0B90 among my collection, My wife bought it for me 25 years ago and still love it, sits in the watch roll next to Speedmaster and seamaster
I have always been a fan of the Grand Seiko Lineup for their Spring Drive mouvement, the Smooth sailing second hands was drawing me.
Ended up buying a Frederique Constant Monolithic, FC-810 Model, Might not be on the same level as the G Seiko, but is able to achieve basically the same without the aids or Quartz power.
Anyway new subscriber here.
I bought my watch for $20 at Walmart (a discount store chain here in the U.S.). It does what it was designed to do. It tells me the time. And it's still going strong after three years. And best of all, I still have money left over to eat and pay bills with. A Win-Win!
Yessssss. When you Nomos, you Nomos.
Yes, because my parents will be the one regretting my purchase choices😂 great video👍
My favorite Nomos is the Nomos Homeroom. Don’t get mad Brit, you can be a minimalist and cherish plain. I am just razzing you. I am of Italian descent, and we prefer dazzling.
Kinda both surprised and not surprised at the lack of Tissot here... I think I'd agree with leaving Tissot out because they're in a similar price range to Hamilton, but Hamilton has the better range of watches. But with that being said, my first "decent" watch was my PRX chrono, which I absolutely do not regret buying, and I think Tissot (particularly with the PRX and Gentleman series) is a good kind of 'gateway brand' into Swiss watch buying/collecting.
Im eyeing a Zenith el primero. Worth the money ?
What?! Grand Seiko made the list but not Cartier?! Is this even a Britt Pearce video?!
😂😂😂
Love to get a GS someday.
Maybe Oris and Logines? I think those brands deserve way more love.
Thoughts on Patek 5164-A aquanaut?
Nice! The new G looks class.
Nice selection, but where is Cartier? And Audemars Piguet?
I think underd0g and Oris should’ve been on this list. But great video besides those misses. lol.
Also, I own a gold rolex submariner. And a corum coin watch with a linked gold bracelet. And I just recently added a one piece (anime) Seiko 5 sports to the collection. And it has become my favorite watch. lol.
Underdog is beautiful, but it doesn't have a big catalogue to play with, and you can't buy anything. It's sold out the moment it comes.
@@extaza555 yeah wish it wasn’t sold out. I really want the mint chocolate chip one. 😍😍😍
What is currently motivating me to do really well with the business I am for the next couple of years is getting a Patek 7118 which would fit my wrist perfectly even though it’s marketed as a lady’s watch.
Well, if I could, I would get a Tank Louis from Cartier. It may not be automatic or whatever, but it’s soooo pretty ! (Yes, that matters more to me than the movement, so sue me 😉).
I have never regretted buying any of my watches. The only one time I sold two of my watches because of my vision problems. I only sold two watches in my life the Grand Seiko SBGJ261 and the JLC Polaris World Time Chronograph. I sold them because I couldn’t see the 24 hours numbers and the country reference respectively. I only buy watches on achievement (graduations, promotions and big bonuses) and only buy the ones I love. I don’t regret buying them, I keep all my Rolex, Patek, Grand Seiko except for one, omegas, Breguet and Journe.
I bought a GMT, 16710 back in 2003. Loved it but as I got older got less inspired to wear it due to the muggings etc. So sold it last year for nearly 10k. Bought myself a Planet Ocean, 002 with the orange bezel. So much better! Far more accurate, astonishing in fact. So much better made, no jangly bracelet, milled clasp with on the fly adjustment. No comparison if you ask me.
"Owner of the most captivating watches channel on CZcams"
Need Longines on the list too, Zulu, big eye, legend diver, or their UltraCron. I was with a friend a few days ago who bought a Cartier Tank, and In terms of presentation and box you get more from Longines, but both good watches. Also, Omega Planet Ocean for me, and yes a Speedy, and their Chronoscope is gorgeous!!!
I’m surprised more people arnt talking about Monta watches. They are amazing
seiko yes , Hamilton yes , Another favorite of mine is LONGINES
You almost always forget Longines 😮. Oris too but that can be forgiven 😊.
I don't regret buying my Zulu Time or my Monaco Gulf
Can I add honourable mentions for Longines, Glasshütte Original and ALS at their respective price points?
second. darn. love your vids!
Bahaha oh thank you so much! STILL. SECOND! Early gang is here!
The one thing that gets me about Tudor is the gap on their dials between the minute track and the edge of the dial so they can put swiss made on the outside instead of integrated into, or inside, the minute track. It triggers something in my brain and I just don't like it.
For me it's the Moronic snowflake hour hand
