10:54 "There are many many variables"... yet they give two prizes to The Salesman. I don't doubt that it's a very good film, but it would have been nice to see either Best Actor or Best Screenplay going to a different film, just so they could award as many as they can.

Why does everyone think negative about Xavier Dolan, i have never seen his films but i keep hearing people talk bad about him?
What the fuck were doing Kirsten Dunst and the other female juries in this jury? They always seemed so uncomfortable and never gave a thoughtful opinion. Cannes should have as jury people with more knowledge about cinema and other artistic fields. People that can smile at a camera can be found anywhere. It's a shame that since the last year this Festival is losing its credibility. They are only focused on being the next Oscars; they are even doing musical acts during the ceremony. Dheepan and the latest Palme d'Or will not be remembered in the future years
How funny the you only wondered what the females were doing there while one of this uear's jury member has only done one film in his whole life. Would you rather the ladies to be replaced by males? What makes you think that these women who have been in this industry for years don't know anything about cinema? They know much more then you, I am certain. And perhaps they felt uncomfortable on talking because women's opinions are never as repected as men's as proven by this pathetic comment of yours.
+Joaquín Villanueva Sánchez. I can agree about Dunst and Paradis, but Valeria Golino is also a director and producer and Ms Shahabi is a producer so they most likely do have opinions. Press conference is not really the place to express them though. I didn't hear any interesting answers from anyone in this press conference. It was all "it was great, etc". But I do kind of wish that instead of actors they had screenwriters or even DOPs.
