Not sure how many are aware of this or not but in Halloween II Dick Warlock is actually playing the police officer that plows into Ben Tramer. You can see him in the background being consoled once he got out of the car by another officer afterwards behind Loomis.

Maann. I wrote a comment on the Halloween Movies subreddit about H20 basically being a Scream copycat with very little Halloween atmosphere. People did not like that. 😂 Lots of downvotes.

I see plenty of hate towards H20 on the sub as well. It's not just a H20 fan sub.
I should have chosen my words more carefully. I mean that Halloween and Halloween 3 are my favorites, but yeah that’s not an actual timeline. I guess it’d be Halloween as a standalone or Halloween 1 and 2 for my favorite timeline.
I love that Dave cares so little about H20 that he forgot to make a separate H20 timeline despite it having the most definitive ending after Halloween 2.
Personally, I think 78/81 belongs in the McRazing! tier, just for it feeling like one continuous night/feeling like one long movie.

I watch the Loomis trilogy every year. SOMETIMES I'll do the One and done, or more often I'll do 1&2. But, most often especially during October, or when introducing the series to someone that's never seen them, I view the Loomis trilogy. It's perfect.

I actually called H1, H2, and H4 “the Loomis trilogy” in a Halloween thread on the Blu-ray forum back in 2017. I hadn’t heard anyone else call it that until I heard you come up with the same name, Dave.

I don’t like the Thorn storyline, but I really enjoy the mood and fall time atmosphere in H6. H5 brings that timeline down for me though.
If Kills didn’t exist, I’d put the DGG timeline as “It’s okay,” but I can barely stand Kills so it’s “Meh” for me. I would rather watch H5 and Resurrection than Kills.

Kevin Williamson wrote H20 to be in continuity with Halloween 4-6. So the ultimate timeline would be H1- Resurrection.
That's what williamson wanted to do, but that's not what ended up happening. some of what was in that original idea made it into the script, but make no mistake, halloween 4,5, and 6 are not cannon in H20
Me I ignore any Halloween timeline that forgets he had his eyes shot out in H2

BTW totally agree about the ending of Halloween 2 versus the ending of Halloween 4. Halloween 4 is considered one of the most chilling endings in sequel horror slasher, maybe all history? Whenever you take in the fact that there is an 8 year old girl covered in blood holding a knife that she just stabbed her mom because she is possessed with Michael Myers. of course the performance by Donald Pleasence really selling the ending makes you scared as hell I was 10 years old when I saw that in the theater
Either just 78 for me or 78 and 81 for me.
A fun exercise I did last year was make a timeline connecting all the movies except the Rob Zombie ones. It's really stupid but I had fun trying to justify things like Laurie's multiple kids and characters dying and coming back to life. Anything can happen with Thorn and Silver Shamrock cults at play.

OG timeline is top for me, then I really don’t know, have this problem of the last movie in the other timelines really drag them down for me, Resurrection destroys H20, Ends ruins the new trilogy, and RZH2 is just awful for me.
DGG timeline goes in the diarrhoea bucket
I remember going to see H20 and thought it was ok. Looking back it hasnt held up well and almost has a "made for tv" feel. Anything to do with H20, Ends and Ressurection are bottom of the barrel to me. Good show Dave.

Dave you can’t get enough of the H4 ending but failed to mention the H20 ending at all? To me H20 has a far better ending than H4
If you've watched the entire stream, I do acknowledge the H20 ending as a possible ending to a timeline and its definitely a fan favorite for some. That being said, I much prefer the darker, bleaker, more ominous ending to Halloween 4. I've never much liked Halloween H20.

Loomis trilogy-I really dig this as an option
big fan of H4. Closer to the OG in atmosphere, best cast, less blood, more suspense, brilliant ending

H5 is truly awful in just about every way. H6 has some plus points-interesting idea, but badly edited and poorly acted
H20-Its OK
loved H20. Too short, not scary at all, but, good cast, good ending, nice setting, well filmed. Resurrection is even worse than H5. There is no reason for any of it. Its just there, it tells no story. Drags the rest of the timeline down
DGG-I really dig this as an option
18 is solid but its too convenient in the way Michael and Laurie end up together, lazy writing. But Michael looked great. Kills is a rip roaring, brainless, roller coaster ride. Spoiled by the OTT scene at the Myers house leading on to the mob scene. It pushed Ends in to a corner it couldn't fight its way out of by making Myers more or less supernatural. This led to Michael's comedown in Ends being very hard for many to stomach. I loved Ends on its own merits. The story was excellent, a nice change from the mindless stalk and slash, rinse and repeat formula. Just a shame Kills and Ends were so contradictory

Cheesy, dull, poor acting. But the concept was interesting, just not executed in the best way

enjoyed the first one, well expanded, though I preferred the alternate ending. The 2nd was just grunge, nonsense, and everyone was annoying
While I’m not against the concept, I never considered 124 a timeline
My favorite timeline is Halloween 1978 and Halloween ll (1981).
Halloween ll is the real sequel and conclusion to the Michael Myers/Dr. Loomis/Laurie Strode saga.
The DDG Trilogy was dogshit, with Kills being the only good movie in that garbage trilogy, and Halloween Ends being the absolute worst movie in that same garbage trilogy.
h3 was a copmplete joke with no myers(debra hill should have changed the name off halloween honestly)....rz 2 and halloween ends are just straight trash...absolute dumpster fires.....3 movies that should never be watched more than once(and trust me i will never give them another look,ever).......my faves is h2 81...yes i put in front of original halloween 78 which seems to be a sin after seeing basically everyones list having the original as top lol.....but to each there own right lol
