I love imagining poor Biff Tannen from Halloween 6 constantly redesigning the Myers house to sell it and finally giving up and moving in himself.
The French accent was great! First Halloween movie I saw in the theater. Good? Bad? I was simply confused as a kid but I saw MM with a scythe. Cool - the mute thing confused. I love it after 1,2,3,4 on Halloween night every year. After that - we just go to sleep. Love you!

I think Farrands (the writer of 6) did an admirable job trying to explain the Man in Black but it just didn’t work
the whole Thorn curse stuff ruins the movie really.. like the curse of Pumpkinhead .. Michael is supposed to be uncontrollable and doing what he does for his own reasons.
My favorite part of 5 is Loomis trying to make heads and tails from what “Cookie Woman” means 😊
Loomis was just batshit crazy 😂
As a kid H5 was probably the most watch Halloween movie in the Franchise only cause it was at the time the one movie in the Franchise that was always available to Rent at Video Stores & now as an adult i known why so Nostalgia plays a big part of why I always have a good time watching H5 not to mention its my favorite Poster in the Franchise.
But I always tell my kids I wish there was a platform like CZcams when I was a kid were I can vent to other people who love the Halloween movies or anything I was a big fan of ingeneral cause at the end of the day Hate or Love H5 we all are here talking about Halloween Movies Win Win.
That Man in Black rant killed me.

Regarding the closet scene, personally i love it.. lack of music, having him in your house in the daytime i find very eerie.. and As far as him, not killing, Rachel right then. Well, you could look back to the original and there's lots of times when he could have killed someone but someone, but didn't..

The calendar story reminds me of Christmas Vacation when Clark presents a gift to his boss and is told to place it with the 20+ others on the counter that all have the same shape lol 😂
The comment about Michael at the end of the movie is right! I never caught that. You can barely see him but he’s there.
And yet somehow, Halloween Ends did more damage to the Halloween Franchise than Halloween 5 could ever do.
I completely disagree.
It would be cool if loomis actually did pull the trigger on Jamie and he ended up as a patient in smiths grove going full circle ⭕️

Dave, I'd imagine that VHS is in pretty good shape because it was hardly ever watched 🤣🤣. As I've said many times this was unfortunately the first Halloween film I ever saw (early '90s VHS rental), but I absolutely hold no nostalgia at all for it lol.
I wish I'd had the foresight to keep some of my old VHS tapes, unfortunately I let my mom sell a bunch at garage sales whenever DVDs first came out 😂.

I can enjoy H5 as a silly horror movie but it is pretty disappointing as a sequel to H4. I think one of the main issues with the film is the shot that shows the Thorn tattoo on Michael’s wrist. When we see the same tattoo on the Man in Black later on, that lets us know there’s a connection between the two characters. If they had removed the shot of Michael’s tattoo, then it could’ve been explained in a sequel that the Man in Black was just some crazy guy obsessed with Myers instead of there being some kind of mystical connection between them. It wouldn’t have improved the film, but at least it would’ve eliminated the idea that Michael was infected with a curse and part of a cult.
Halloween H20 has really dipped in my rankings throughout the years. It was my second ever Halloween movie I had ever seen in the theaters. It was great when I saw it and the ending was epic. That was satisfying. However, everything in between opening scene and finale was boring and not great. With that said, it's in the top 6. HOw are we still treating Ends? I still can't rewatch it lol
Im in a beginner hockey league, many of us in the league are mid thirties and up to even 50’s and 60’s.

that’s why I think Halloween ends is the worst Halloween movie ever. That movie is the definition of exposing him in vulnerable situations and exposing the mystique of Michael myers.
I agree 5 and resurrection are junk, but I’d rather watch 5 and resurrection over ends any day. Definitely don’t have to see an entire city hold Myers up like he’s at a rock show doing a crowd surf to put him in a grinder. Can’t kill the boogeyman. I understand the story/ 3 movies makes sense sense to some degree. With him getting weak over time the human element of it etc. but it’s just not for me.. not my Micheal Myers I have envisioned In my brain

Totally agree 👍. The funniest thing I’ve ever heard anyone say about the haddonfield residents holding Myers up was Dave saying he looked like aunt Edna from vacation on the station wagon lmao.
So the Myers you’ve envisioned in your brain cries to a 9 year old whilst surrounded by hundreds of candles that he lit to set the mood? Lol.

Dave knows that. That's not what the viewer was talking about. He was talking about something at the end of the movie. Of course dave knows about that scene with annie being carried inside.
I recently rewatched this crap. The best thing in it was Tina's legs.

Dominic himself has said he wanted to do his own thing and didn’t really care about the continuity between 4 and 5. He wanted Michael to be his “Frankenstein monster” lol 😂 Worst directing hire ever
Really? The bulk of the film is the exact same premise as the original...It's built on the same framework as the '78 classic...It's almost all Myers stalking people, and Loomis stalking HIM...and set against the backdrop of the Harvest Season in the Heartland...Easily among the top 3 Halloween movies ever made.....

I enjoyed Halloween 5 i always watch with 6 . Yea i now it has it problems
but i still enjoyed and thank it was a right choice to kill Rachel at being because people forget she was salf scented in the first half of Halloween 4
I was 15 when it came out i watched it the 1st day it came out on VHS in the uk i;m not a great fan of it especially the thorn side of things was wrong.
It sad this movie get so much crap yes the mask is terrible Jamie been unable to speech and the corny cops it still better than Halloween resurrection 😅😅😅

If you like Halloween movies, in general, why wouldn't you enjoy this one? Halloween 5 is closer in tone and substance to the original than most others in the series.
