SPICY SEAFOOD DIPPING SAUCE RECIPE (SOS CELUP PEDAS)

Ingredients:
Chop first using a food processor/manually and then pound them in a mortar-pestle. Will taste better 👌⬇️
10-12 green cili padi
6 red cili padi
7 cloves of garlic
Handful of fresh coriander leaves with roots
Then, add the following ⬇️
1-1 ½ tbsp palm sugar or granulated sugar
3 tbsp water
6-7 tbsp fish sauce
Fresh lime juice (3 big lime)
Salt to taste (¼ tsp)
Enjoy this awesome table condiment with any of your favourite seafood, fried rice and spring rolls….shiok 😋😋😋
P/S: More or less, you may decide on the amount of each ingredient to your own taste preference.

what is the substitute for fish sauce?

Fish sauce would definitely make the difference. However, you can try using the light soy sauce.
There are many fish sauce brands which has lesser fishy smell like the Golden Elephant.
