If you are a super high skill player, not to sound arrogant, but like me, I have 3 max Kenobis… the best card combination I have found for ALL game modes is Forward, Quickened Focus, and Safe Guard. High skill players don’t take a lot of damage so 300 base is plenty. Building 40% more blocking and attack stamina is HUGE! You do not need perfect defense if you run Safe Guard. Quick and focus allows you to significantly cut down on the force push time where you can get those enemies running away from you. And obviously forward because you’d be an idiot not to run that.

Loved the hero guide! Obi-Wan is the perfect example of a defensive hero, but can be quite offensive as well. Can I suggest something? Add some memes and make things funny! "In-depth" doesn't necessarily mean that everything has to be serious. Great work, nonetheless!

Can you talk about jump force attacks or just all types of jump attacks
Obi-Wan isn't able to do any force jump attacks that I didn't mention in this video. It's only those normal attacks while jumping. From there you can just judge the height. 6:00 Hope this helps.
How should I train myself? against bots or go into heros vs villains?
I would say both, but I would go against bots for a more controlled environment that way you see a lot more of your strengths and weaknesses to know what you need to improve on. Hope this helps.

Yes. I'll be doing all heroes in the game. My Grievous guide should be out this Thursday and the best way to rank up anything including heroes is through co-op. Hope this helps. If it doesn't come out Thursday then it will be out next week.

how would I execute a lunge attack? I have tried dashing forward and pressing attack but there seems to be way too much delay, and seems more like its just storing a regular attack swing after the endlag of the dash is done.
Yeah, that would be your front dash attack. Your lunge attack would be when you run forward and then press the attack button as you're running and you'll see you're character lunge forward. Some characters will have farther lunge attacks than others. This is mainly used when someone is in front of you and you can't get them with your basic attack. For example, someone could be running and instead of just swinging you can run towards them and swing which is a lunge attack. Hope this helps.
@@TheGrayJedi ah, is there a way to do a lunge from standing? Maybe like a smash brothers input sort of idea? I feel like I've seen it before and smashing the stick and pressing attack creates a lunge correct?
@@a.clover5487 Correct and you can preform it by just standing, but it has to lock on and won't always be consistent. For example, if an enemy is in Lando's smoke you won't be able to lock on.
Play Kenobi how you're supposed to: defensive. Only attack once you find an opening or try to create an opening.
Question: why do people keep turning off lightsabers when they run around? I've seen a lot of people do it, and my only guess is that it hides you on the minimap.
It doesn't hide you from the map it just helps you not be as noticeable because especially when it's night time you will really POP and people will see you easier.

explain the difference between dash and dodge please.
A dash is more of your abilities like defensive rush and a dodge is like your "dashing" movement to get out of a saber combo or an ability. Those are the ones that refresh. Hope this clears things up and I explain it better in my Anakin hero guide if you want to check it out.

Yes, saber heroes are better on maps like Naboo as they need more open space

what star cards would you suggest for using Obi-Wan aggressively?
I'd use the same one's I used in the video because the other one's are even more defensive.
@@TheGrayJedi okay, I have a really good Obi-Wan, but not really an aggressive one, I have the extra health regen, the reduced stamina cost for defense, and the stamina cost reducer based on how much he's already blocked
@@TD-ht8dz Those are good star cards, but if you're wanting to play a bit more aggressive then I would swap out one of his stamina cards for him to do 50 more damage on his dash ability so it can instant kill infantry.

@@kianhardwick No problem. My pleasure. I do most of the time, but to be honest I feel like I play a little bit better with lower sensitivity like 65 or 70 with blasters. I'd just play around with it to see where you're best at between the normal soldier sensitivity and the actual ads blaster sensitivity. Once you find your sweet spot then I'd slowly start to increase it by increments of 5. I hope this helps and answers your question. A lot of it just comes down to practice and getting used to the controls since this is a very unique game.

It depends on the enemy or should I say it depends on the weapon. Saber swings is 25, but it varies in laser bolts.
with safe guard star card and the one which increses his guard stamina, its basically infinite, trust me, whenever i get 4v1ed i just hold block until my teammates arrive it works everytime

@@TheGrayJedi indeed it's godly in hvv but not so good in trooper modes, in close quarters maps like tattoine give it all star card is very good.
Its doesn't depend on the enemy. Obi-Wan can block 25 saber attacks before out of stamina without any star cards. The second highest in the game is 14

This is a basic guide. It’s when you’re in the thick of it where you see your skills. There’s no guide for the actual battle. You’ll have to see it for yourself and learn continuously
@@midknightmiddleman5887 Well put. There can be some guides for certain situations in battle, but they still won't be much help until you practice it. It just come down to tips and knowledge of what to do in those situation and most of it will just come from experience.

I just said that that way people don't get confused when I use the word dodge because there are some dash abilities, so when I use the word dodge that means that you should actually dodge or roll depending on your character. While a dash comes into different forms like a dash or rush ability's. Hope this clears that up.

I'm rewatching this and just realized you said that he only does 130 damage to the front and 150 damage to the back? that's absolutely ridiculous, so he has slow swing speed, bad swing stamina, and he does average or worse than average damage? Dang he's worse than I realized, I watched a hero guide on him that said he dealt more damage with his lightsaber than any other hero besides Grievous, but I realize now that must be outdated, wow I am not happy with the creators
Yeah, there are some decisions that the devs made in terms of balancing that I don't necessarily agree with and yeah, there are a lot of outdated guides out there because of all the updates.

@@theAngeloValencia Well, everyone's definition of good is different, but I've been playing a little after launch in the beginning of 2018. I just remember having fun with it while practicing and then just got good. I don't remember the timeframe if I'm being honest.

Yeah I make a lot of mistakes like that too, and it's not that it's wrong to say dash when you're wanting to dodge, I just wanted to make it clear in the video so people wouldn't get confused when I would say rey's dash which is her ability and didn't want people to get confused with like a dodge, but thanks for the constructive criticism!
