Just watched the exhaust build on LT's channel, the algo sent me here!
That exhaust is looking great! 👍
Building my own comanche now and this makes me wanna get it done!!!!
Michael Sullivan do it! They are sweet rides. He just got the coil overs on the back now so it's working great now
Chris forgot to mention that we bobbed 7 inches out of the bed.
Very cool. Some day I want to build a one ton MJ to go with my XJ.
Kallam Kruse a great build no doubt
This rig is awesome! I love the unique and custom stuff! And the styling of this truck is amazing!
We think it’s an awesome Jeep too! 👌
The Jeep looks great.
Its a great looking build, simple and functional!
I've wheeled with Chris a couple times. He's a great guy!
Tim Ryan for sure!
HELLO TIM,,DOES CHRIS HAVE A YT CHANNEL?STAY WELL
@@dezertraider He told me he doesn't do social media. So I doubt it.
@@timryan8174 THANK YOU,STAY WELL!
@@dezertraider No I don't think he does.
One of my favorite Comanche’s she’s a beauty!
Totally agree. It’s a great build, and he’s done more since we recorded this video
Awsome video guys !!!!!!
Comache Goals!
its a great build for sure
Really awesome MJ
great truck. awesome to see. grabbed some ideas for my xj after watching.
Awesome! Good luck with your build
Beautiful toy, awesome rig 👌💯
This thing is effin BADASS!
Agreed!
Awesome rig
Great video, cool ass Comanche!
I thought so too!
I got to wheel with this guy this week and he walked every obstacle😂
I wheeled with chris last week as well. Always good to hang out with him
Sweet Rig!
Awesome job and awesome Rig 👍👍
Thanks I’m glad you enjoyed it! His MJ is really well done 👍
My dream!! , love the short bed comanche, I have an XJ now ..
something we didn't talk about in this video was the 7 inches they chopped off the back of the bed. Pretty great build!
That things sick
Some great engineering in this ride for sure 🤘
Awesome 💪
👍🤘
Awesome! I got a 89 MJ that I need to start to build up, have a 96 xj donor for a motor and transmission swap. Got a 99 xj up 6.5” lockers 456 gears etc etc
Nice truck!
Amazing low profile build!
heck yeah, this is a great build and you wouldn't know it just to look at it.
Nice 👌
Are you me? I also have a rattle canned flat dark earth 89 Comanche in the same state. Though yours is much cooler than mine! Thanks for sharing, I have several of the same things planned so it's cool to see yours built out. Awesome truck!
Tyson J 😂
Nice to meet you at Trail Hero.
What a great build! Love Toyota pu's!
JUST KIDDING!!
ExDuris Gloria 😂 it's a great Toyota
Just watched LTs latest video uploaded today. Dude has a love for a fully tig welded exhaust system
that is one sexy jeep!
Nice ute as we call em down under
Building an 87’ Comanche with no rust, could you do a review on it next spring?
Better than the gladiator
Must be nice where its good weather all the time lmao. Here in New England You can see who really takes care of their jeeps, our winters ruin jeeps here
Haha Utah does have great weather. I bet it’s hard to keep vehicles from rusting up there. 🤘
what do you think of this combination for a cherokee, 5.9 dodge engine and trans. standard t-98 4 speed
Always wanted one of these but man they are hard to find it get for a good price.
Totally agree! Really hard to find a decent one that isn’t trashed
If I lived out that way, I'd build a Comanche too.
John Pearson where do you live
@@RedRockCrawlers North West PA. Not a lot of off roading options.
I like the rear 4 link suspension 👌 you think it would work on a xj?
No this style not optimal on xj. Fuel tank is behind axle. Build a standard triangulated 4 link like Clayton off-road makes for the xj.
Where did you get that sports bar from? Or did you make it yourself?
I believe chris and his father built it.
So your running a stock 4.0 with stock trans & transfer case?
Great truck!
Yes motor, trans, wiring and computer from 95 cherokee. Tcase with slip yoke eliminator from 98 TJ. All stock. Tom woods driveshafts with corrected ends to mate Jeep to Dana 60 w/1410 u joints.
@@stevewhite1614 wow that's amazing! I'm just starting a Cherokee and looking to do 1 tons. It's crazy to me that the stock motor, trans & tcase (np321?) is that strong.
Thanks again!
With the right gearing it will work fine. Axles are 5.13 and I don't have any problems.
@@stevewhite1614 do you have a way to follow you & 4x4?
@@trashbarn I have some videos, but it's not updated regularly.
Exhaust build is coming along awesome on this. It’s on L.T. Tolmans yt channel
I’ve been watching that. It looks great 👍
How would that 4 link system handle on the road?
They say it works great. But it did take them 3 different attempts to get it right
Does he have an Instagram?
No Instagram
The welding makes me wonder how long before that thing breaks. Design ✔, Fabrication 🚫
That Comanche should be named “Transplant” or “Organ Donor”
Haha nice. So many jeeps were harmed in the making of this Comanche 😂
It’s ironic how this Comanche owner doesn’t consider himself an Engineer!? After all the fabrication his dad and him have done...
ppl put way way too much value on a piece of paper. He’s done more fab work than most engineers fresh outta school
Yeah they have done a ton of work and RnD on this thing. It's pretty cool to see this kind of home garage ingenuity
But that literally isn't 4 link rear
He even only lists 3 links😂
So BAD A$$........the only Jeep I’ve ever seen Done right.........!!!
Its built right for sure! He just added rear coil overs too
