  • Is this incredibly lucky or unlucky? Also the stripers have been boiling in the evening now on small baitfish. But the stripers have been all shakers.

I literally just started fishing with my dad and gpa. They are super old school. And now I really want to branch out and try to salmon fish here. But the damn Sacramento River hasn't been doing me any good for anything anything else. Lol love your videos!

Good video! I caught my personal best king salmon on the Sacramento River on Thursday the 27th! A day before you posted this video. Seems like they are in the colder parts of the river in Woodson Bridge SRA.

Interesting, given the heat, that some salmon are that far upriver already. In your opinion, are the fish in that area as high quality---as in orange flesh---- as the fish closer to the ocean?

    • @fadedchannel

@@hotdogonabun4367 As I understand it, the Yolo side is a private island and is posted as a "No trespassing, no fishing....etc" zone. I wonder if taxpayers help maintain those levees? Anyway, there is some fishing access at the Clarksburg launch ramp. Otherwise, fish on the east bank of the Sac.
