Absolutely love everything about this channel/show. I'm 23 and I'm building my daughter a 66 mustang coupe. I bought it for her when she was 6 months old. She's 2 now.

You will need to cut the pedal pad (where the rubber pedal mounts to) down to suit the narrower manual shift pedal pad.

The car doesn't need a hydraulic clutch, you can use the stock stuff very well.
ok boys, how to Bleed the Hyd Clutch, the manual states to use air compressor? any thoughts of just bleeding by using Vacuum Bleeder or by manual pumping and bleeding?
For her 66 I have a 86 mustang gt 302 (wish I had a 93 302 from a cobra). I put edelbrock intake. Long tubes. And I just got a T5 tranny (luckily an 86). I already put disc brakes, and swapped the rear suspension. All polyurethane. And imma go with magnaflow.
No longer uses the clutch spring??
Well how much does this keisler complete kit cost? and there are other keisler transmissions fits in old japaness car like Nissa 300ZX? and do you guys work on others cars ?
So I wanted to put in an overdrive trans into my '65 Coupe in place of the 3 speed automatic. Assuming I use the T5Z option I considered using a hydro clutch just so I don't have to adjust it all the time (and because I dont want to add power steering). Is this still possible on a 1965 with a T5Z WITHOUT doing ANY tunnel cutting in compliance with the original plan?
You will possibly have to do a bit of carving at the opening of the tunnel to get the shifter to fit. Modern Driveline has a shifter that will do the trick. Give them a call: (208)453-9800

I have a question for you guys: why do you eliminate the clutch return spring up top at the pedal? Also, does that throwout bearing come completely off the clutch fingers at the top? I'm considering this hydraulic clutch for my T5 trans conversion on my '68 pony and I do not want the throwout bearing riding on the clutch fingers like some hydro conversions that use a straight (external bell mount on the opposite side of the original cable attachment) slave that pushes the stock ford clutch arm and t/o bearing. That make sense? Some guys on the forums and even some parts dealers say because of the short travel on the external slave, you have to 'preload' a little pressure on the diaphragm clutch fingers in order to get full clutch release, so the t/o bearing spins 24/7 while the engine is running. That sounds like a real bad idea to me, is it?! The external slaves only have an inch of travel, and that's at the end of the clutch arm, and these internal hydro t/p bearings have up to .8" travel. I'm guessing that's more effective travel, right? If I like the feel of my pedal to returning clean to the top can I leave the return spring in place? Yours, or anyone else's help that's dealt with this conundrum is greatly appreciated, cuz I'm stuck with my build until I get some answers...

I generally put them on the engine bay side of the firewall away from the hood hinges.
