Does not want to look desperate.
A little time to figure things out.
Might date other women on purpose to get his mind of you.
All to really test if you're really what he wants.
Trust me, he'll call you back only if you don't call.

A week and he' s not into you? Not true...my husband didn't call for two weeks when we first met. I could not have cared less. Why? Because I didn't know him...I had a life already.

No! It means a lot of things. I have seen it many times. Men need to process and make room when they meet someone they REALLY like. When a woman contacts them it interrupts their processing. A lot of times they feel they need to get their act together and they are measuring how together and how worth it??? lol No worries...if they don't come back it's because there's an upgrade around the corner. God is good! They know their habits and quirks...you don't. Often times when a man disappears...it's a blessing!

He's 100% right idk why people are disagreeing.
I agree with what he's saying; that one should put oneself you there, open up to new experiences and to let negative emotions pass (that third one was interpretation). He doesn't mention how to deepen your relations, how to make people happy and wanting to be around you or how to 'warm' a 'cold' man. He's wise this guy, but he left out some things, like that every other ass hole who doesn't call might have lost his phone, have social anxiety, gone on vacation, ect. (social anxiety may be a norm for 'ass holes')
I think that you should treat every person you meet like you would treat a friend for life - Care about them and stuff like that. That's how people get life long friends, life partners and what have you. I'm just guessing, though. Like the next guy, and the next, and the next ;)

I do not agree, sometimes people just need some space! And some guys are used to crazy needy girlfriends, that this can be a little test on the relationship to check and see if she can handle it or freak out. 3 days with no contact after one of the first date is nothing to freak out about. Give him/her some times to miss you! Love takes time.

not saying he go both ways, but he from Tennessee maybe that way some men talk.
he thought pulling away in Feb. I met someone else in January when I notice change. I did contact him in Feb. he came up with lame excuse why he didn't call.

There is an important part missing: women tend to feel in a committed relationship after a first date, which means they expect a behavior from the man as if he's already their husband! Even if women don't speak about it, men realize that in her behavior and words. So ladies, in case you don't want to scare him off go back to your own life, be active, meet friends and last but not least continue dating as long as there is no commitment at all which never can be that far after a first date!!! And please consider that taking time is also to your advantage to get to know his real character.
If he doesn't call after a first date you can reach out to him after about 1 week, but please in a good mood and without any anger. He is not obliged to anything on that early stage, neither are you. Good luck 🙋
